Because Mrs Akirasan has a habit of buying things that we don't need.

Don't forget to get your photos done before you go, just one less thing you have to worry about when you're there.

Send the owner a bill for your wheel alignment
edit: just reread you were on a bike.
Incidentally, none of the locals here stop if they skittle a dog, you've done more than enough.- 1

Well I finished Far Cry 5 but the ending left me a bit disappointed..like what did I just do all that for?
Besides the wonky ending I got bored about 3/4 of the way through once I'd mastered the game mechanics and nothing really posed a challenge. However it's an entertaining fps and the chaotic combat is good fun. I have no desire to replay it right now though.
There are so many great games I haven't played however I just ordered Bloodborne

Teachers Day is on the 16th, a lot of the teachers dress up for it, might be something to do with that?

Just got back yesterday from doing the same thing. Don't stress mate, it's a very easy process and Laos is a really relaxing place to spend a couple of days.
The tuk tuk drivers will hassle you when you get through Laos immigration lol- 1

North East has been unbearably hot this past few months, I've even had to switch from beer to water.

Eh..I got a visit a couple of months back. Whilst I don't like the idea, the guys who showed up were pretty cool about it. Especially since I hadn't updated my address...whoops..
They said they'd had orders from the top to go around and check on every foreigners address. This was a few weeks before the media started reporting about the current crackdown.
My dog started going off his nut at the police which they had a chuckle about and made a comment about what a good guard dog he was.- 1

You will get a new 90 day entry.
If you did it on the 26th you would be stamped in until the 23rd of January. You could apply for a 60 day extension of that 90 days to visit your wife which would mean you would not need to get a new visa until March.
Thanks Joe, really appreciate your knowledge and advice.

I asked this in another topic but I didn't get a reply so apologies for repeating myself.
I'm on a Non-O visa that expires 8th November.
However my current visa stamp from my last border hop gives me admittance until 26th Oct.
If I do another border hop will they give me 3 months or will I have to renew my Non-O visa in early Nov regardless? I'm just trying to plan the best course of action.. -
I'm going to ask a question here rather than start a new thread.
I have to renew my Non-O visa in early November. However I'm scheduled to do the border hop in late October.
If I do the border crossing will that give me an additional 3 months and I can renew my Non-O visa in January instead? Or will I have to renew it in November regardless? -

Far Cry 5 (finally). It's not bad but I expected more from it.

Interesting..I'm also on a multi O and usually go across a border and back on the same day. Last time the Cambodian I/O got me to change my visa form to say I was staying a week at the hotel that was next door - I was wondering what it was about.

Cover your car.
If is not the geckos it will be birds next.
The house we are in now is like swarming with different birds. Don't know the reason why they like our house, but there are hundreds of sparrows, dozens of mynah birds and doves too. They love to sit on the car and look at themselves in the mirrors, pooping all over the car, motorbikes, bicycles, windows, and throwing rubbish and sticks about all over the patio. I
I had the same problem so I bought a couple of small mirrors from the market and put them up outside where the birds could perch and admire themselves as much as they wanted. They leave my car mirrors alone now.

Throw her phone out the window and leave.
Incidentally one of my ex's tried the same thing. I got woken up at 11pm by two BIB and my ex pounding on my door after she'd claimed I was beating her. The police spoke with me for a couple of minutes and very quickly realised my ex was batsh*t crazy. They left and that was the end of that.

My inability to move prevents me from protecting my wife.
With all the s++te going on these days, security is my main concern, that is the main reason we have cctv.
OK cctv wont stop intruders, but it gives us some warning, so police can be called.
Glad to hear you're ok mate. That would shake anybody up.
I'm lucky here (between Sisaket and Surin) a soi dog adopted us so he sleeps at our house and acts as security in exchange for a steady flow of food.- 4

I once had a girl I was seeing break into my apartment and refuse to leave. Here's what you do:
Step 1: Pick her up
Step 2: Put her outside
Step 3: Go back inside and lock the door.
Step 4: Turn up the TV. She'll stop banging on the door and leave when she gets hungry.- 2

God this is my biggest annoyance too because I work at home as well.
I don't know if these work, you can buy them on amazon: https://www.celestialtribe.com/
It's apparently a noise cancelling device that attaches to your wall. I can't imagine it would be too effective, it just came up on youtube as I was reading about your problem and thought I'd mention it.- 1

Does Lazada refuse to deliver without answering phone first?

Correct, the courier is who calls.
Ours only calls if its an expensive item, to request I have the money ready. Most of the time he just shows up unannounced.
If you stick to ordering items by COD only, the courier will go to every length to deliver it.
