  1. I recently paid for Wizz TV and I can say it works very well in Pattaya using AIS (50Mbs) internet. Watching the football last night and did not buffer even a single time.

  2. NHS study showed no significant difference between the two of them. For same reduction in cholesterol would need 40mg of Simvastin for same effects as 20mg Atorvastatin. My doctor at BPH says that Atorvastatin has a slightly better survival rate in patients who have had a heart problem in the past.

  3. I use the AIS app from the google Play store on a minix android box without any problems. You have to use your AIS internet no to register it or can use a thai phone number and they will send a sms code to you that you enter on the boxes app.

  4. I had exactly the same experience on Friday afternoon also. O Visa ext not O-A, 800k baht in bank not monthly payments. Not asked about insurance or maps/photos. Sign was still there about the appointment letter but was not given any letter. Picked up my passport on Monday afternoon and still no letter. I had timed my renewal at the same time as the 90 day report so i will have to go back in 90 days anyway so will update bank book just before so i have proof of balance should it be requested then.

  5. I had my toner cartridge refilled for 600 baht in Tukcom. Was unusable afterwards for about four months because of dirty marks. Seems to be getting better with time but still not 100%. Should have gone with new toner cartridge for about 1200 baht.

  6. Have too agree, went for yearly retirement extension, took 15mins including time to go outside and get extra copies made. First class service.

However wouldn't have liked to get 30 day extension office was packed out.

  7. The routers have 3BB's name on them. A new install recently in a house about a year ago they supplied was only 802.11g. If someone got a Zyxel router they may have run out of the 3BB branded ones. The ones they supply now may be 802.11n but single antenna only

The better 802.11n routers have two antennas for double speed 300Mbs instead of 150Mbs.

  8. Without knowing how his home is set up how do you know that changing to a 802.11n modem would improve his speed or not. One of the advantages of 802.11n is improved speed over longer distances and less interference from other 2.4ghz devices. No 802.11g setup will ever achieve 54mps however it could limit you to around 20Mbps under normal operations or less if not close to router.

3bb website gives the following prices.

    • The price of router 1 Port WIFIis 650 baht and router 4 Port WIFI is 999 baht. (VAT included).
    • I stand by what i said 999 baht for a crap 802.11g modem/router for that amount you could buy a decent 802.11n modem/router. I do not know if they even have gigabit ports on the one they supply, my guess would be not.
    • Ok if you wish to only ever have old 802.11g devices then you will see no improvement.
  9. It is not that hard to set up a new router/modem, nearly all of them automate the set up, there was just the three things to do. Select 3bb as service provider. Enter username and password. Bingo everything worked fine. There is no need to manually adjust the settings.

    The router i bought was TP-Link TD-W8961ND
