I can sympathise with the OP, primarily because until now he had a good record of receiving mail, from his father in the US.

Registered mail might be perceived as a red flag to some Thai postal workers & sending cash was a huge mistake.

It was probably opened, cash stolen and the contents binned.

I have a pocket sized Nikon and 2 small, pocket sized, GPS units I need bringing over by an honest tv member, currently in the US, not to save a few dollars but to actually get what I paid for.

I have no trust or faith in the Thai postal service or HM Thai Customs.

Well, out of 6 g/f that started out wanting nothing, 4 of those have ended up working some sort of scam after 3 months or so.

Now, that may well be my fault entirely.

Here is a great idea, come to Pattaya, sign up a big expensive lease and meet many Thai Hookers. Even though you think you wont get caught, you eventually get stung for 200-300 Thousand (if your lucky) by a Thai girl, you buy a Bar or a cheap hotel for 3-5Million, and that goes belly up after 2 years.....The land of smiles looks very inviting from afar, just look at all the recent events, Thai people are very disturbed..... and have many issues...if you scratch beneath the surface.... i would suggest you invest in Australia Real Estate now it has almost bottomed out.... not in Thai Hookers
