This may be required by your airline before they allow you to board your flight to Thailand or (less likely) required by the immigration officer when you arrive in Thailand.

Is that really true? its possible to get infinte 15 day stamp on arrival in a row ? they would never say: hey guy u need a visa now?

But there was a change in the law a couple years ago. Before that, you could only have a maximum 30 days exemption with a possible 1 week extension and after that you had to stay out of the kingdom for a while.

A couple years ago they changed it to no restrictions on re-entry. You can perpetually leave the country every 4 weeks and re-enter, get a stamp, do the same thing 4 weeks later etc. ad infinitum.

The same thing applies over land...2 weeks, leave, come back...2 weeks etc. etc. etc.

I do it all the time. They never ask me if I am a real tourist or just a pretend tourist.

Now....why would they change the law and then try to stop some people from doing it, and allow others(like me) to re-enter multiple times?

Absolutely impossible to predict what will happen in the region even in the short run, so suggesting an agent that can ALWAYS and in all circumstances obtain what you are asking for is impossible.

But its worth a try to ask around anyway i am sure there are some guys out there at the borders with reliable "friendship connections" who are abel to get you a double TR visa always in any passport corruptions is worldwide available in every government....

but i would feel bad to give away my passport to that person....but i would risk it maybe

Why would you wait until the last minute? You can get the 30 day extension at any time, thus preventing any possible overstay etc.

that a good hint thanx.... so i can try the extension before and would not loose any day? just would get the stamp for beeing allowed to stay one month longer

I have a lot of TR visas in my passbook already and i am afraid that when i go for next 1 month extension (1900baht) to immigration...anyone ever got trouble with many visaholder extension?? if they reject that would be a desaster. (time waste, money waste, overstay because will do it on last permitted day to stay)

i am german and was trying to get a triple entry TR visa in vientiane, but when i gave my application form to the thai gov office guy then he corrected my applicationform to Double Entry Request only.... so i was getting a double entry TR visa then...

so my question, what magic do i need to get a triple entry visa ? :-)
