  1. I found a list of companies that provide insurance for the  A-O visa requirements but do I need to use one of these companies or can I use any company that provides the required coverage? Does anyone have a recommendation for a good company? I am 70 yo  and am currently covered by AIA but there is some question as to whether immigration will accept them. Thank you you for any assistance you can offer.

  2. Does anyone know or have a top rated cardiologist they could recommend in Bangkok or even Pattaya? I particularly like Bumrungrad in Bangkok but if you know of somewhere better ...  I have been seen and diagnosed at Bangkok Rayong but would like a second opinion. Any help would be much appreciated.

  3. Thanks! I have some land to grow them on so I am giving it a try with some seeds I brought over. I have tried in the past with little success. They grow great until the flower. Then the flowers either fall off or the leaves get grey and they die shortly after. I will try this year growing them under shade netting to see if that helps.

Sure I would definitely try to make the case that its important to you to do this soon assuming it is. Definitions of emergency can be subjective. Worse case they say no.

If not as I said before why not research the possibility of using an online notary?

This link is a bit dated but it provides some clues.

    https://www.nationalnotary.org/notary-bulletin/blog/2020/03/ca-sos-notaries-work-special-order

It indicates that it is illegal for a California notary to provide online service.

However there are other states where it is legal.

It suggests trying to use an online notary from such a state for use in California.

If you try that you should confirm these things.

Will such an online notarization be accepted by your recording office?

Do you need to physically be in California during the online session?

Do you need to be a legal California resident?

Thank you! Do you know how to apply for emergency services?

@golf1here Make an appointment at the Embassy here in Bangkok.  I just had 4 documents notarized at the embassy on Thursday.  The appointments are about a month out, but if you check the system daily you may find someone canceled an appointment and there is now a sooner opening.  $50.00 USD for each notary needed, payable by cash, or a credit card.

Make an Appointment | U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Thailand

    Thank you!

  6. Hello,

I need a grant deed notarized for a property in California. The title company has told me to get it notarized at the US consulate. However, they are not taking appointments right now. Does anyone know a notary in Pattaya, Rayong or Bangkok that would be recognized in California USA?

  7. Thank you Impulse! I had thought about going to talk with someone at Lazada but had no idea where they were. Thanks for the info. I am about 4 hrs from Bangkok but I will try and go to Bangkok soon and see if I can connect with someone there. I think that would be my best bet. I currently sell on Amazon back in the states so am not entirely new to the arena . Do know if I would need an appointment? If so would you have a phone # for them. Thank you again!

  8. I am looking for some help selling a product on Lazada. The business will be in my wife's name . Has anyone out there done any business on Lazada and would you be willing to share your experience and possible help to us? Thank you to in advance.

  9. I have a question about 90 day reporting. I will be in Thailand soon on my new retirement visa. I understand I have to report every 90 days to immigration (now available online). My question is: Does the reporting have to be exactly 90 days from when I enter the kingdom (or from the last date of reporting) or can it be say, 85 days or 95 days. If it can be say 85 days, is the next reporting date 90 days from that date ?

  10. I just received my multiple entry retirement visa here in the states and will travel in a few weeks. I understand that if I leave and come back within the year I will get a one year stay from the date I come back in. What exactly does that mean? Say, if I leave Thailand in Feb. and come back in March does that mean I don't have to renew or extend until the next march? Also, when it is time to renew or extend will I still be able to get a multiple entry? Thanks!
