  1. When I have been in thailand earlier I have bought Dtac sim card and connected my macbook trough a mobile phone, but it has always been problems with it.

    Now I have 1 Ipad (first generation) and iPhone 4s.

    What would the best option be for internet?

    I'm going to stay around 1 month close to Chiang Mai.

    I tried searching on Dtac and TOT webpage but didn't understand it.

    Its best to have a prepaid sim card (micro sim) that I can put into my iPhone, and then I can share internet between iPhone, iPad and macbook. Or if I jail brake Ipad I can share internet trough it.

    What would you recommend?

  4. I arrive in chiang mai october 12. I work with tribal people that lives in the slum (po karen, akha and lahu).

    If you want to give your cloths to me so I can give them I would be very very happy! (I always bring with me 40 lbs of cloths from norway each time I travel ;), but I don't have any baby cloths because I only get cloths to kids 2-10 here..)

    I really loved khao mun kai when I was in Chiang Mai. I ate it nearly every morning on carrefour!

    But I wonder how do they make it? I have seen several recipe but they are so different. Some recipe says to boil chicken with water, and other says to boil with ginger and garlic..

  6. I ate a lots of different thai vegetables when I was in chiang mai. We have different asia stores her in my country but I did forget to write down the name of my favorite vegetables.

    Does anyone know about a good webpage with picture of different vegetables and the name (in thai and/or english). I remember very good some green leafs with yellow flowers and green leafs with white flowers :)

  7. A friends of my has a boy that is diagnosed with adhd from a center in bangkok. He is thai.

    He has responded very well to ritalin but they have big problems to get it here in chiang mai. They are at mc cormick hospital and the pharmacy can not get enough ritalin for him. They only get 30 tabletts every second month ore something because the hosiptal say that can't get any more. And he should have used 2 tabletts every day.

    Does enyone know about other hospital that can get ritalin or why it is so hard?

  8. My thai friend told me that she use 12 paracetamol every time she has the period.. I told here that it will destroy here liver if she continues and she agreed.

    But what else can she use?

    What are the name down on the medication in thailand.

    I used Diclofenac (cataflam) in my country. Is this aviveable and what is it called?

  9. I have bought a dtac simard and paid for 100hour internett but i am unable to make it work on my mac computer.

    I use the cable and plug them togethter and the mac find the nokia 5500 sport but it ask for username, password and a telephone number (is this my number it ask for??).

    When i press "advaced settings" (or something like that, my mac is norwegain) and press "modem" it use apple as a modem and if i press nokia it ask for AIN.

    Can someone please help me?
