  1. All you have done is purchase the points to enable you to pick a package from the selection. As you have purchased only 50 points you can select any of the packages

(ie English language at 350 points) however you will only receive 50 points worth of that package which I think is about 5 hours. Hope this helps....

  2. Why is everybody going on about the World Cup being free viewing to all, whereas in actual it isn't free to most if not all countries. ie. UK where the tournament is covered

by BBC and ITV. Its not free as you have to buy a licence to watch BBC and ITV programmes costing over 150 quid per year. The coverage comes out of their budget so as they don't have to charge extra. In the states its only on pay per view channels (full coverage that is) I think, stand to be corrected on that. You never get owt for nowt as they say in the North of England.

  3. Anyone who thinks (or is it dreams) that England will be anything but an embarrassment in this years world cup really should take a long hard look at the stats over the years not to mention the (non) quality of the players. Who is this best striker in Europe then?? he's only a mere mortal compared to Diego Costa, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. Now if you were talking about Suarez maybe I could believe that but Sturridge, come on.

  4. Okay if the dish in your apartment is facing west and at 76.5 degrees it should be okay as it points to Thaicom 5/6 which is where CTH transmissions are being made now. However please be aware that these transmissions are in SD grade only, no HD like those from Vinasat. My guess is that when their contract to transmit from Vinasat is finished they will start transmissions from the new Thaicom 6 satellite at 76.5 degrees .

  5. How have Vinasat managed to convince Truevisions to allow True Sports HD2 to be shown on their satellite , obviously it has been sub-leased to them or has it? I have read nothing about this so far, not complaining though, it appears under the VTC banner but no word of it on their website.

  6. Okay who was the clown with the thing? on top of his head? CTH have now dragged Premier League football down to their level of inane humour with this, even their presenters looked embarrassed by it all. Please don't say, well its early days yet and it will get better, sorry no it won't. They have dragged our national sport down to the level of a circus act and its bloody embarrassing. I have watched football in many countries over the years and I have never seen it treated with so much disrespect. Most educated countries take football with a passion that beggars belief, but here they have none. I am no lover of Truevisions believe me, but at least their presentation was nearly professional, but CTH are a fck.. joke from start to finish. Couldn't believe when they repeated it with another "guest" for the Arsenal vs Spurs game. If I didn't love Football so much (its picture quality and English commentary is good by the way), I would throw the whole thing out but that would cutting my nose off to spite my face. It just makes me cringe when they show this crap, please guys get professional instead of marketable.

  7. I would ask your technician who installed the CTH satellite system how he works out if it rains in Vietnam there is no reception in Thailand. Your dish is pointing to 132E and wether it rains in Vietnam or not is not the issue, but if its raining where you are in Thailand then you will have reception problems. I know the original transmission comes from Hanoi in Vietnam, but it would have to be bloody torrential downpour (more like a monsoon) to cut out their signal to the satellite. Even then I'm not sure wether CTH transmit from their HQ to the satellite or not, maybe it was just cloud cover that blocked your signal which can be worse than rainfade..

  8. Well I took the bull by the horns and had the satellite installed for around 4500 baht, however have to wait 3 days for them (CTH) to send a password code to my installer so he can activate the system. No money paid upfront however, which is unusual for Thailand. If you wait for the cable system, you will be waiting for ever, cos I signed up for it on 28th April in Udon and nobody has ever contacted me about it. Not very professional IMHO but hey TIT
