Mr. Lee the new PM for Singapore, during his acceptance speech in the early 50's, declared that he would lead Singapore to become as strong economically and culturally as Burma was at that time within a few decades. Once the military Junta took over in Burma during the early 60's, their future was sealed to a one person view of self empowerment with total control.....

I fly over the Phang Nga Bay and Phuket Island area 4-5 times every week in private aircraft, the floating and piled up trash growing in so many different locations (land & sea) out of site from the traffic snarled roads is a problem exploding in size. once these trash piles start being seen the true condition of Phuket's trash dilemma will become exposed...

MP using a 40 cal handgun killing a business rival in daylight at a gas station is ok and goes without any form of legal action....but just one lame girly photo and all up in arms...

50 years ago the newly founded Singapore used Burma as the shinning example in the region to follow....Burma turned to nationalism (with military government wrapped in a flag) as the cure for all social ills....results speak for themselves. Thailand is at the crossroads of making the same mistakes allowing the social ills to only increase as the moral decay increases. Its no to late if true leadership were available and would step forward. Leadership that for the first time was not self serving.

The good friend of current and past Thai Governments, Burma, has the same rules and actions as the ICT. Maybe they are cross training each other in monitoring methods. Burma's military intelligence units (sorry for the contradiction of terms) and the ITC hand in hand, heading in the same direction and for the same goals..

So the Doc's cancontinual cut off the wrong leg or remove the wrong part withoutrecourse.....("adding that the draft law had seriously shaken the morale of medical workers')
.....and this effects themedical workers morale? How is that possible? Guess the victim is not theconcern of the medical workers...

As much as some would prefer it to be otherwise, Phuket is in Thailand. There is no need for any special paperwork or documents. Cost of living is a bit higher so suggest a few extra Baht in your budget planning.
-
i have the same type of problems and the Doc's recommend stop eating any diary products and cut the high fat pork and other similar items from the diet. tuna and other deep sea fish products are good , but shellfish acts on many folks different and should be avoided.
-
I was able to fix the same problem you outlined....as already suggested, chrome being installed and set as the default clear away the issues...

30 baht medical scheme seems to be on track with other similar populist Government programs. Now if the Governments corrupt officials would contribute 25% of their under table income to a medical and education slush fund, the balance of payments would be out of the red... just a dream.
-
Every time we pay a single extra baht for requested or assumed "added" fee for any reason, we become the ones growing the corruption..
-
it matters zero the actual winner, they each are linked (in chains) to the military junta. hence the reason for the widespread boycott by those respected in and outside Burma
-
who are we to judge the ways of thai progress back into the stone age.
-
they run away for several reasons, line up the cash and power friends needed to clear the matter with police, and to allow time for the drugs or alcohol to clear from their system circumvention of any test.

the point is being missed..... Saudi is merely illustrating that Thai politics, corruption, and greed still remain unchanged after 20 years. How can they (Saudi) move on to better relations with Thailand unless they accept the never improving (only worsting) Thai standards. Would you prefer having Saudi say that its ok, we accept the corruption and greed from Thailand because it is their natural way.?

Reported is the rifles and rocket launchers that go missing, but what about the unreported or unaccounted for cases of hand grenades, mines, C-4, and numerous other war items so easily passed through the gates and into the hands of others with ill intent.

in the past, all international companies made it a requirement whenever possible to ensure the US dollar was the currency clearly stated in contracts. Now Asia currencies are the currency of choice for many future looking deals.

until Thai education system stops teaching young students that Thais are the greatest and all other surrounding counties are made up of lowly folks not deserving respect or notice, the underground work force that props up the factories and construction industry will remain the poorest and least represented group living in Thailand.

TOT & CAT ; A "public service company" is a term seen in print and vocalized in the media but never truly realized or possible in Thailand. There are just to many rice bowls being maintained by a select few. Protecting their private turf makes the public service reference a criminal joke on the real public.
