I am close to 40. Have an MBA and Masters in Information Systems. Have 4 kids. Been living in Bangkok on Soi Nana from 2003-2008. Moved to Cambodia and been living here ever since. Haven't taught English yet, but am ready if I have to one day. There're much easier ways to make money than teaching English and much safer than selling medicine.

In almost 10 years I've never been robbed by a girl nor drugged by one, never gave more than 1000 baht no matter how sick the buffalo was, never got scammed by a guest house. I was and am now on first name basis with every motto taxi and took-took driver wherever I stay. Maybe my luck will change, or maybe I just not green or naive or the trusting kind of fella who tries to see the good in everybody.

Love SE Asia. All the little annoyances here are dear to me, because 5 years of them are still less grinding than a minute back where I'm from. I don't want this place to become like the west. That why I left. You all enjoy yourselves, I know I am.
