Found this website offering portable hot tubs @ US$850.00, including shipping to Thailand. Wonder what the import tax would be like...

I had one and let me tell you it was bad it only worked for 4 days then had problems and the water never heated up. not to mention no massage at all it sucks.. I just got my new spa from a company called www.twodeespas.com and thay deliverd it and hooked it up it,s been 1 month now and it runs great and the massage if out of this world. prices are good to . it came with davey pumps and davey controls high end stuff. im living large on the farm now, the thais think it,s a big bathtub. haha

Just a thought. And I am considering this. I saw a great sale the other day on tub spas. Like you would put in a bathroom. I have seen these also used outside, but under a sala. One we looked at was really nice with many jets, a lounge seat with at least 20 jets, and was on sale for about 60k Baht. I am seriously considering doing this.

if you do you home work you will find that rubber trees are a great investment. You can make upto 150 BT per month per tree. the price per kg of rubber right now is 100 bt, one tree on avage on my farm produces 1.2 KG per month i have 3200 trees. so for me it,s a great investement. As for the future it just will go up . and for planting to many well it will not happen when rubber trees can only grow in a small area of the world .

Basically I plan on wholesaling clothing to my customers in Europe from Bangkok.

So, they order from my catalog, I then ship goods to them- I dont need to employ any1 to help me to that!

U do not need to open a business in thailand to do this.U just need to come over find a trading company .work with the trading company on what products u want.add them to your catalog and start selling.Normaly the trading company will charge u 5% for there service.As u get orders u send your PO to the trading company thay will then do the foot work for u and ship them to your customer.

its so simple if u talk with the right guy.most of these guys on here dont have a clue

This is the way i run my company.I buy from thailand and china.I come over once or twice a year to check my suppliers and talk with my trading company.

I can also tell u this china has a better selection of suppliers for the product u are looking for and a much better price.If u want to get some contacts for some factories and good trading companies contact me. <email deleted>

How much about on average is one rai going to make profit in one year. After EVERYTHING ie. 50 50 split, fertilizer etc i Assuming rm 600 is the crop.

That's the only figure that counts.

its hard to say how much you will make.It realy depends on where your location is.diffrent parts of thailand produce diffrent yields.

I have 30 rai of 8 year old rubber trees. per rai per cut i get 4 to 6 kilo .I cut about 220 times per year.I have my own work force that gets paid 35% of what thay bring in.each cutter gets 5 rai to cut. At this time i profit per month per rai about 4200B after paying out for my cutters

as for fertilizing We do it 2 times a year once in jun and once in aug.This is durring the raining season.It cost 7000B each time.

I am making mats.as for the price i am getting 63B per kilo.

I'm glad someone has nailed a figure down at last. However at your figures a tapper covering 5 rai is on the low side. I make that about 370 trees. Around here in difficult terrain they cut 5-600 trees a night.

my trees are on a hill side so it takes more work to cut them.i find that to many trees for a cutter to do in a night is bad.i rather the cutter to take his time to cut the tree with out harming it.I also have 95 trees per rai
