The UK had pub licensing laws that were introduced during WWI to stop armaments workers from getting hangovers. Those laws were in place for well over half a century, and it was always embarrassing explaining to foreign visitors that in London pubs all closed at 11pm; 10:30 on weekdays. -
In Bangkok, is there a place you can stay privately to recover from an operation after the hospital releases you? Like a sort of hotel but with medical staff on hand?
