Everything is as legal as it can be, but she knows the things that aren't , or threatens to simply get us investigated- which adds stress and potential red tape having government officials come knocking. (Envelopes at the ready etc) I also have land which is in her name that until now she has in good faith offered to transfer to our company, so need her on side ... But fear once the last of the ties are cut , she has nothing connecting her to me, and in spite would stir sh1t up. Me cancelling her visa is a retaliation, only if she causes problems . I am not that petty to do for just sakes sake, but it is the last card I hold.

So 2 years ago, whilst married we applied for 5 year uk visit visa, which was granted. This allows multiple 6 months stays as a visitor. We have now since separated and divorced, and she is threatening me and my life here in LOS with her potentially causing visa, work permit and business issues for me here- just as her kind of games ! I now hear she is planning to go to uk end of this year, perhaps with a new guy , or to work illegally in a thai restaurant in uk, how can I cancel this visa and stop her being able to enter uk on this old visa? Which is technically still valid as she hasn't applied for new passport since you are required to change back to maiden name in Thailand after divorce. If she screws me over, I need to know I have stopped her being able to take advantage of that old visa. Advice pls.

I thought Japan didn't have any money nowadays ? Or do they mean money from the Japanese Tsunami fund which Thailand collected - which never quite made it there ?

Been waiting for 3BB to do fttx in Sansai for 8 months, still not possible. Sinetfttx has only been in CM 3 months, using CAT engineers and TOT gateway. Is direct ftt cable to house from box so very reliable. 1200/month no deposit for router. Tested at 31mb up and 3mb down, very happy with the switch over.

Saw a thai sign saying chatuchak market was opening opposite rim ping, but the place looks more like a makro than an indoor market. Perhaps mistaken ?

So if I understand correctly, this means we get cheaper wine/beer from abroad - can't be a bad thing! The import tax here has put a hefty premuium on imported booze - which many of us are quite partial too, including middle-upper class Thais.
Thai booze here is cheap enough, if kids wanted to start drinking they would drink the cheaper stuff first, and no matter what deal they make, wine / beer from EU will never be cheaper than Thai brands. They can't blame imports for more pis*ed kids!
...and then also foreign countries get cheaper Thai beer to go in the local Thai/ Indian take aways and supermarkets - also can't be bad!
With world economy going to sh*t, more will turn to comforts of booze and other sin products, a safe investment and another good idea from da PM. Bring it on!
