  1. C & P in Sukhumvit Road. Between Sois 10 and 12 do a really good job. Two chinese sisters and work is done on the premises unlike a lot of tailors who send stuff out to Pratunam for sewing. Have had a few things made there and was really pleased. Also heard good reports about Dino. At the bottom of the Sky train steps opposite Robinsons department store. Friend recently had a fantastic skirt made there, bias cut as well which is something a lot of tailors/dressmakers screw up.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

My wife would like to have a classic, chinese style, silk dress made in Bangkok, you probaly know the kind of dress I'm talking about.

Its boddy hugging with a split at the legs and a nice flower or chinese dragon pattern on it.

Would C & P be the right tailors for this? You mentioned two chinese sisters working there.

Would they be able to get the right embroiderd silk material for it though? Or would we have to source it from somewhere?

Someone advised we go and have a look in China town???

Any advise you could give would be greatly appeciated.

    Kind regards,

    Armand :)

  2. Hi All,

Sorry to jump in here with my question but I didn't really want to start a new post on this.

My wife would like to have a Chinese style silk dress made and does not know who to turn to.

I'm sure you've seen those Chinese silk dresses before that are body hugging with a nice flower or dragon patern on silk.

Could anyone recommend a tailor in Bangkok for this? Most tailors in Bangkok cater for men and not for women.

Maybe we should look around for a tailor in China town?

We are looking for a tailor that will do a top quality job and the silk ofcourse should be of top quality.

We're happy to pay a fair amount for this.

Scammers do not need to reply, I SMELL THEM A MILE AWAY!

    Cheers :)
