Yes 3 beers and your out if you get caught a SECOND time. If you get caught twice then yes deportation.
But looking at your reply looks like your one of the drink and drive defenders.
not defending real drink drivers but all dui limits are set way too low ,why ? maybe it's revenue raising !, responsible drivers watch their limits but its's not hard to go over. real drunks don't care about limits.

People who drink and drive are selfish people. Endangering others for their own comfort. Deportation should be mandatory if it happens again.
you do know the difference between over the limit and drunk,3 beers will put you over the limit,( will 3 beers make you drunk ?)so with out knowing their readings you want them deported ie so 3 beers and your out.

I guess you should drive in OZ where the speed limit in build up areas (towns, cities) is 60kmh
you do 62 you will get a ticket.
wrong the speed limit in a built up area is 50 unless sign posted and i have had a ticket for 1 kmh over .but they don't put that on the ticket ,all they put is over the limit by under 10 kmh. so you can't contest it in court.

just be careful not to say {finish the hongnarm} did that a wife's place ,came back to find the whole room demolished . when i said finish the toilet ,builder thought i meant knock it down.yes we had to put a bigger tank in for the extra water,no trenchers though, tank has no bottom so it acts like a sand filter ,just gets pumped every so often.

Just go bankrupt wipe ATO debt.
Heaps people do it in Australia.
IN AUSTRALIA going bankrupt does not clear a tax dept. further more they can raid your bank accounts & also seize any money owing to you from a third party. the ATO have very broad powers.

our local kfc in prasat is far better tasting than our kfc in Hervey bay oz, on the other hand 5 star chicken in Thailand tops them all.

when we built our restaurant all we gave them was a hand drawn plan ,paid a small amount and bobs your uncle all done, blue book ,house number, power & water all good to go. at the start of the build we borrowed power from next door just paid their bill for them much cheaper and less hassle then getting a temporary meter.

DON'T OPEN A NEW ONE, most councils will require x amounts of parking space, a footpath, curb and channeling, wheelchair access, all stainless kitchen, industrial hoods, industrial grease trap the list goes on & on. better to buy an existing place and convert to what you want.

The wife drinks johnny red here in oz at a slow pace, may be a bottle per week, but when with her friends in Thailand that goes to 1 per day which adds up. so i said can't you find some thing cheaper. she picked blend 285 as the closest to red label and unlike samsong you can light a match in the bedroom next morning 555.

Is it acceptable, instead of showing cash, to show a Thai bank savings passbook with balance of more than the required amount?
BUT wouldn't having a Thai bank account mean you r more than tourist in their eyes ?? and should not be using visa exempt.

its a real crapshoot sending items by mail, been sending items that i can't find in Thailand from oz, prior to my move here first box 3kg no charge,2nd 8 kg 1400 bht,3rd 12 kg 3000 bht, latest 2 1x 19 kg,1x 15kg passed through customs Bangkok no problems sent to our local post office sized by local customs had to send daughter to pick up,it was a aus 90 dollar steel vice cost to send from oz aus 400,customs then charged me over 5000 bht, but hey it had sentimental value ,just glad i got it back.

TO answer your post i shipped a container out of oz in July 2018 ,in my Thai wife's name. (getting ready for the big move),had tools & machinery( bobcats),household items, wife has lived in oz past 10 years, had not one problem so much so have another on the water as I type this. she was allowed 1 container tax-free but still paid a little duty so am expecting this one to cost more . same deal, has workshop tools & machinery (mini excavators). y not buy here u say well, new is too expensive & second hand r from Japan (overheating problems) + I all ready own these. fingers crossed this one is as easy as the first.
