  1. Actually it started with Abhisit, who knew very well what would be the outcome of a harsh crackdown, yet insanly and irresponsibly proceeded with it.

Of course, blaming everything on Thaksin is the convinient excuse that relieves one of using the grey matter... as to the real cause of the problem.

There is some relief knowing that one day Abhisit will pay for his crimes behind bars.

Absolute horse excrement troll. In nearly every other Country the protests would have ended weeks ago with far more loss of life. It is not Abhisit's fault that he inherited a completely dysfunctional police force and an army showing factional splits. But then you know this very well but you are a troll.

    Utter garbage as usual.

Perhaps if you lived in China or Iran, yes but most responsible governeents would have negotiated a peaceful way out. Instead Abhisit took the easy way out by giving into the right wing hardliners.

Have you been inhaleing to much burning rubber ? In most other countries the body count would be much higher than it is here at the moment , negotiated a peaceful way out ? He tried and your red army constantly declined his offers with stupid unrealistic demands ! The army should of stormed the scum weeks ago , that is the only criticism i have of Abhisit , he could of ended it earlier .

Harsh crackdown , it could of been alot worse ! What is / was he supposed to do sit there and watch Bangkok be held hostage by these thugs ? Let them continuously attack the army with bricks, sticks , petrolbombs , and believe it or not GUNS ? Was he supposed to just sit there and let this happen?

Hopefully the remainder of the rioting scum are taken of the streets tonight !

Long live Thailand and the King !

  3. I live on Soi 1 behind the hosital. I walk to Sukhumvit in the mornings and up to about Soi 11. It is quiet but I always seem to see a tourist farang couple or 2 walking around. The thing I ask myself is <deleted> are they doin here? Is this their idea of a joyous holiday? High levels of idiocy I think

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WALKING DOWN SUKHUMVIT ? ARE YOU AN IDIOT?

  4. On Channel 3 they just showed some life scenes from the streets of Bangkok, a gasoline truck on fire, young men setting fire to tires, pick-up trucks bringing in whole truckloads of tires, men throwing Molotow cocktails at soldiers ....

Are these still the "Red Shirts", the poor, underprivileged farmers from Isaan, the honest grassroot people coming to Bangkok to demonstrate for more Democracy and against double standars?

Hardly. There are professional thugs and hooligans of the worst kind who have no idea of the consequences of their senseless violence. They certainly won't listen to any voice of reason, any offer of talk or compromise. The only language they understand is force, power, handcuffs and a prison cell, for 10 years.

The Red Shirt leaders have long totally lost control and the Government would be well advised to stop any attempt to peacefully end this war.

Go get them and put them away, for as long as possible.

100% agree , its been going on way to long now ! enough is enough , a curfew should be put into place so the trouble makers can then be easily indetified , and get what they deserve jail as a minimum !
