Yes I worked as an Speaking teacher, I worked 24h + last 24 weeks 3h/week so 27h/week. The resutat of the poll is ore not good to have as an print when speaking for salary. Like here I worked the director say in next school the salary is 15 000 THB/month.... 20+h...So your salary is to high ... I did not know when stop to laugh ... Inside my self... My salary was 26 000 THB/month so on the lowe side for this work. Now my contract ended so starting hunting for next place to teache ;-)

Can more of you fill the poll, so we can show it to the schools when we talk about the salary.

teachers” Dated 27/10/2557. We quote:

Thank you for your interest in teaching in Thailand. Foreign teachers must obtain the following
document in advance before the next round of requesting for a 2-year teaching permit:

An original official degree confirmation letter for graduates of university/college. The letter
from the university/college shall be on the official headed paper of the college and clearly
confirm that you have successfully completed your course, including the classification you
receive, the dates of attendance and graduation. This letter must bear an original
university/college seal or stamp and signature of the Registrar sent in a sealed envelope with
the university/College's stamp. Void if envelope is opened prior to receipt

The confirmation letter must be sent to the Teachers' Council of Thailand address, as provided above.

No problem to get tourist visa in Vientiane , take the bus International bus to Nongkhai from the bus station in Vientiane.

- Is the embassy in Vientiann still granting tourist visas for pick up the next day? Any recent experience there Yes they do so

- is it necessary to have hotel booking in Thailand a well as departure flight outbid Thailand? (If so we plan to book free cancellation hotel & flight) No

- any advice/ suggestion to our above plan?

- what is the bus schedule back to bkk and how do we book tickets? Cal bus comp like Changtour and book but no bigger probl to buy in Nongkhai

AUA Udon Thani is a great school for learning English -- at least according to their's and other UT websites, it seems that they do not offer 52-week courses in learning Thai language ... only ad hoc 6 week courses when enough bodies sign-up.

Humm if you go there you will now more , the have a 3 - 4 step courses

Here in Udonthani you have AUA at Nongprajak nere Wattana Hospital, they have corses try them
