    I see people querying where the best place to Buy Hifi in Thailand may be , my experience has found that Thailand has Many Famous Brands available the range is incredible ,but I have found these products are no Cheaper than what you can buy elsewhere in the World;

    Having Travelled to Thailand several Times I would suggest people look at the Local Thai products.

    Magnet Audio

    Sac Audio

    Norh

    These products are world class costing a lot less than compatible Well known Brands.

    Magnet makes amplifiers for another well known Brand ,and has a Variety of designs ,Sac has amazing amps check out the review on the KT-88 True Balanced Push-Pull Amplifier on Hifi review found on the Sac Web site, I have found these two companies very Good to deal with .Like Sac Norh seems to be pushing the Mail order Train so I have never had the oportunity to view their products during my many visits to Thailand ,though this may have changed .

    I intend to travel again to Thailand shortly ,is anyone aware of any other local Brand of similar quality

    Where To Buy Hi-fi In Bangkok ?

    Where in bangkok is good place to check hi-fi equipment?where the prices are also low.

    i want to pick up a dvd player and cd player. No brand preference for DVD but for a cd player marantz or some other similiar range brand.

    Also are they any online shops in thailand?

    avoid all of the above like the plague, unless of course you are happy to pay double the price you can pay elsewhere.

    i would suggest you pay a visit to a shop called mahajak on sukhumvit soi 3.

    go into soi 3 and walk down the sidewalk on your right hand side, walk past the grace hotel and head for pechaburi road, the shop is located just before you reach the bridge over the canal, just opposite the bumrungrad hospital, well worth a visit, and excellent prices.

    Good advice. Mahajak is one of the old line, legitimate distributors in Thailand. You will find people in here that really do know what they are talking about.

    Last I knew they carried mostly stuff like Denon and JBL, have they gone more hi-end since?
