I have been trying to get back  to stay with my family in bangkok, lived there for 20 years, but I dont have 4 to 5K for all the BS. Covid check, before you board, covid check when you arrive by the moon people. Absolutely ridiculous. 

This must be a Aprils fools joke but it is not april. As stated by many others, who is going to spend 200K to go for a 3 to four week vacation and spend half of it couped up in the hotel. and getting tested 2 to 3 times for covid? that's after getting tested before you get on the plane.  don't forget the 100K health insurance.They say 8k tourist, i think maybe they misinterpreted that and meant 8.

What a joke, yes, come if you want to be stuck in hotel for 14 days and don't forget the 100k medical insurance. And then you cant just stay in any hotel, it has to be a government approved 5 star hotel. Then don't forget you 3 day covid medical letter which is going to cost you some money, typically test result are 4 to 7 days. Good <deleted> luck,

I'am confused. I have booking to retun to bangkok on the 2nd of August. NKptai stated that the quarantine was free. I ad been told by the thai embassy I had to pay for it. can anyone shed light on this?

Sorry to say that with covid-19 the American embassy is closed. Waiting for my son to be issued a visa. My wife has a visa but unable  to travel because of airport closed and no visa for my son yet. big problem and a major headache. 

Don't know what to do at this time but wait. Wifes visa expire in end of July.

Was flying on delta and they cancelled all flight fo the month of July to bangkok, now booked on the 2nd of august. Waiting to see if that will work.

Good news, haven seen my wife and son for eight months, booked a flight for the eight of july but that was cancelled by the airline.
