I had the same problem with my land line internet and it drove me nuts as it would cut out every 5 minutes and was super slow!

Now it's very reliable and runs at 3-4Mbps because no one told me I had to contact TOT give them my phone number and inform them the line needed to be used for broadbandish internet. Within a day problem solved.

Of course not but the woman who's about 70, and her great grand daughter, who come to collect empty cans and plastic bottles from my house each month are still working. Which is less rare than all these Thais you know earning 100000B+ a month. Stats are worked out on averages and in any country only 1-10% own 90-99% of the money which doesn't necessarily make for good parenting.

Your girlfriends sister in law probably does earn that. I know Thais who earn very much more than her. But that doesn't take away from the fact that most Thai men earn 6-12K per month. This isn't an argument just check some official stats as there's 60 million people here not just the few well off ones you seem to know.

My point is if Thailand needs a new generation of youth then they'd better start accepting immigrants more freely if Thais aren't willing to sire the next generation. Australia has the same problem as does most of Europe but Australia is soon to relax it's immigration laws as they need to get the average age down.
