  1. I just moved in the Sukhumvit area and been having this problem with my neighbor who gets drunk with his friends almost every night. Their loud late night parties is driving me nuts. I went over to them and politely requested them to tone it down several times. Last night this young punk said that Thai law states that they can do whatever they want until 12 am.

Not a Thai and don't understand their laws, but is there anything I can do legally to get these guys to shut up so my family and I can finally get a good night's sleep???

Appreciate some legal advice and some help here.

    Many thanks..

  2. True enough, but in this case it WAS Pattaya...happening elsewhere doesn't make it more acceptable...

Totally agree. Rape is not just 'shit'. The person who wrote that post is a jacka@@ moron and as we call your type of dirt bag 'aehia!!'. If it happened to his/her mother, sister, wife or daughter I'm sure 'it' will change a different tone in 'it's' post.

You guys nearly need to work out a bit to let steam off. Yes, its a very bad crime but it happens everywhere in the world, EVEN IT DOESNT MAKE IT MORE ACCEPTABLE! Crimes happen.

Yeah, that's a real 'mature' and civilized solution.

  3. Pattaya a haven of filth and criminals , Tourists should beware . Parts of that place have its own smell that turn stomachs over. Good on the Daily Mail to highlight something that local media often try to hide, bad publicity.

    well

shit happens no matter where you live

    its not just Pattaya

  4. The guys at the crackberry site posted a Verizon chart comparison about the latest 'CrapBerry Storm 2' beating out the iPhone specifications. Problem with their chart is that they are comparing their new phone with the OLD iPhone 3G. Interesting question is - Why CrapBerry won't compare their new phone with the iPhone 3GS? Has anyone here in Thailand been able to access the CrapBerry App Store?

Why does that bother you? Crapple is not the only company that makes phones. :)

Wow, didn't know 'Monkey Boy' Ballmer is a member here..

  6. Just as the topic and title say, can I get my iPhone 3G screen replaced in MBK?

Its just the glass, not the LCD.

Can get fixed in the UK for £60 but am in BKK next week and though it would be just as easy to get done there.

Yes, you can get it cheaper here in BKK. I know a place where you can get the authentic glass for it. PM me when you arrive in BKK..

  7. Mercedes has just launched their iPhone app. The high profile Mercedes app allows clients/buyers to pay for their monthly car payments. Talk about catering to your customers. Flash has created an SDK for iPhone developers that will convert Flash web based games into an iPhone/iPod Touch App. With an existing 80,000 apps in the Apps Store - we can surely see a spike in that count when developers convert their Flash games. Lastly, Rogers - sole iPhone carrier in Canada, will no longer be the lone ranger reaping the iPhone profit. Like Vodafone and Orange in the UK, BCE Inc and Telus Corp has announce that they too will jump into the iPhone bandwagon. AIS - anyone?

  8. Typical of all Thai supports or customer NO service. If they don't have a clue of what you're talking about they would say that it can't be done. Won't even take the effort to find out. You just have to keep digging into their 'pu@@ies' until you hit the right spot...

  9. happened again today ... really giving me the s...ts ... I mean something is going on - you can't mistakengly clear your 'recent contacts' 3 times in a week - surely ?

If you have a factory unlocked phone maybe you should upgrade your firmware to 3.1 and see if that would help solve your problem. Either that or make sure you connect to iTunes and back up your phone's data and do a restore

  10. iPhone becomes an exception gadget for the rule that requires the use of local tech for location (GPS) services in cellphones in the region. This open the market for the much demanded Apple smartphone. But - will the Apple gadget hold up against the strong hold of the region's 2 top Titans - LG and Samsung? Stay tuned..
