She knows that I did love her and I made that very obvious. I didn't want her to have breast job or worry about her back skin patches but........... Unfortunately she will NEVER be happy with her life. Always wants more.

"Unfortunately she will NEVER be happy with her life. Always wants more."

In my experience - stay away from such people. Nothing will be good enough until they discover that they are not good enough themselves. There are endless alternatives. The only thing you need to be is flexible. Don't suffer because nothing is good enough for such people. I had this experience - was not good enough and tried to do more to be good enough to get some love. But I was never good enough even if I would have given her my credit card and the pin. My advice - people like or love you. If not forget them. You can't force them to change their feelings - not in the long run.

As my reply to the post #3 my gf only asked a few days ago about getting braces. For looks only she doesn't need them and she has a lovely smile.

Oh and she did get the silicone breasts a couple years ago and one of them is going very hard and round and will need to have something done about it.

A few weeks ago she had injections for "black" skin patches on her face. Now she has small "craters" where the injections were given.

Her vanity is starting to backfire on her.

If she has the feeling that you love her and that she is good enough for you she might not look for changes. But obviously she is not happy with her situation. And it might have nothing to do with you. But on the other hand why is she not happy with her life?

Exactly...go to a bank...seriously, being asked on an internet forum for an 18 mil loan is on a par with the boiler room guys that keep calling me to invest 50k Sterling in some IPO. How's the weather in East Africa?

But at least they promise you that you inherited something or that you will get endless love.

I heard somewhere that a law had been passed to prohibit a landlord from profiting on adding a markup on utility prices. Does anyone know if that is correct and have a link to something to verify it? Or was the person that told me just passing on bar talk as fact...

Thailand has many good laws. But if nobody enforces them they are just useless phrases. It doesn't make much sense to inform the public of great laws if nothing changes. But somehow it could make sense if the people are questioning why they are not enforced. But I am only an expat. Up to the Thais. In the end I am only a tourist. Next week I have to do my 90 days reporting again. Hopefully I don't forget. Online sadly doesn't work for me anymore since I have a new passport. Complained a lot. Below my result.

  5. If you have a lot of money be careful. In my own family I had a case were one child tried to kill his rich parents. His friend was a drug dealer. It was in all newspapers. And there are many cases like this - in Thailand and everywhere. People are greedy or simply envy - this is often enough. There is a reason why some people can't be without body guards.

Well hmm.... I have to do my first online attempt after changing my passport and reporting at CW immigration in a couple of weeks. When I went to CW, I did tell the lady that I was unable to do it online. When she gave me back my passport she told me I was now in the system again and can do it online next time.... we will see.

I could tell you EXACTLY the same story from Jomtien. It was repeated many times. In the meantime I gave up.

Or if you dont leave the country you have to do your first 90 day report at IO and ask them to put you in the system.

I also noticed if you try to do it too early it tells you to report to IO and won't let you past the first page.

Could you really do this? I told them so often at 90 day reports to change the passport number in the system. After several years I gave up. Online worked with the old passport problem free.

Some of us obviously know more about "the rules" than some on here that think Pattaya is a cheap version of New York.

It is like this. Some meet Noi, Nok or whom ever at a bar and such guys feel that they control the situation. The red light districts and the bar businesses are very well organized to get your money - without your money they can't survive. Nothing special - just a business like many others. And Noi and Nok work for them.

personally i would not make first choice a viet public hospital dental clinic though there are competent dentusts there also. my dantist in da nang also works at a public hospital but has told me they lack some technology available in private clinics.  funding related

I avoid dental clinics in hospitals everywhere. The dentists are only employees. I think a good dentist has his own clinic and is more concerned about his reputation than a no-name employee. But of course this is no guarantee too.

Do you think a normal person would just jump out of a window after an argument? Mental Illness is a big factor in suicides, its real and its happening to thousands of people everyday and sadly, some don't even know they have an illness. The only other two reason probably drunk or drugged off his head.

I doubt that it was a mental illness. But you might be right if you call love a mental illness.
