After 20 minutes I give up, what a horible documentary with annoying and loud music in the background, I don't understand the maker of this, named Jan.

I like to give a comment but comments blocked.

You better watch the series on Netflix.

Of course, the series is really good, but it takes a few creative liberties in the interest of tension and drama, while the documentary is more factual

Great TV Series ...Wonder does he get anything from that ?

Not one cent,  he was asking for thousands of dollars for interviews, the production company could not bear to give the guy any money, good for them. Plus, seeing how he invents every story that comes out of his mouth, it'd be worthless.

There's an excellent documentary made a few years ago, shows quite well what a slimy <deleted> he is...

  3. Used to suffer quite badly for this, with terrible migraines, so a few tips:

    1) Get your eyes checked. Once I started wearing glasses, it rarely happened again

    2) This is not really an issue with modern LCD screens, but old CRTs often were set by default to a very low refresh rate, causing a subtle flickering effect that is just really tiring for the eyes. Make sure your monitor can handle (and is set in Windows) for 50Hz minimum and it helps a lot

    3) Reduce the brightness of the screens. It's tempting to have them on full brightness all the time but that's rarely necessary

And yeah, step away from the screen every now and then

    Hope this helps someone!

  4. One thing I also noticed, which is positive for the country, I suppose:

The border-hopping "Visa Run" crowd, how much did Thailand receive per entry? Nothing. Now I'm quite sure a very large portion of these people are getting 60 day tourist visas + 30 days extension from Laos, Penang, etc. Which means 1,000 per entry in the country's coffers, plus the extension fee (not sure how much that is now?)

Case in point, I was in Vientiane late last month for my own visa, and there were nearly 500 people queued. 500 people paying 1,000 baht minimum each, 5 days a week, I'd say that's a pretty good turnover!

So will immigration ever *truly* crack down on visa abusers? Maybe the worst offenders, but overall I'd say it's same-same but different...

  5. I was there yesterday too, the whole thing went MUCH faster than previously, got my extension and 90-day report done before 11AM (arrived at 8:45), instead of having to wait until after their lunch break. Seems they broke down their process into smaller parts, first one lady to check all the papers are in order, then another to take the application and payment, and a third to stamp the passport and give you the receipt. Let's hope it lasts!

  6. My channels have been updated. Ch 137 has disappeared. Ch 136 which previously contained information on future games has become, I think, the previous Ch 137. Has anyone had the same change and, if so, where can information about future games be found?

yeah they ditched the 4-in-1 channel...it was an interesting concept but a real headache to watch!

Nice to see Sports Spirit in HD, for those wrasslin fans :D
