He is the only candidate that understands the anger of the American people about illegal immigration and isn't afraid to talk to the issues. He would have negotiated a far better deal on things like the TPP and the Iran nuclear deal. He doesn't have a chance of winning but enjoying hearing a REAL guy sounding off.

Now retired in Thailand for seven years and loving it. If forced to go back to US, no problem; there are plenty of things there that I do miss. It's a big country with plenty of choices for whatever climate and lifestyle you want. But please make it after OBummer leaves office!

Good going Konying,
Congrats on reaching your goal. I am on a similar diet using whey protein powder available locally and about halfway to my weight loss goal. I am drinking protein water one day and eating pretty much whatever I want the second day. I have found it to be very easy; it not only works but you save a lot of money. I've found eating alternate days that I am not very hungry on the eating day; so two light meals is enough. I also gave up beer, sodas, carbs; sticking pretty much to meat, veggies, salads, and vodka.

Hopefully, they will be banned from Thailand.

This is beyond ridiculous; it really is time to look for a new destination.

Anybody know if availability of cheap wine (without fruit juice) is any better in Cambodia or Vietnam?

T-shirt, shorts, flip flops, and a backpack is not a typical tourist.

Thanks again to the politically correct politicians who invited moslems into our countries. RIP to the victims; hope another Charlie Hebdo emerges.

Chiang Mai is still a great place to be retired.

I have been visiting Thailand since the 60's and retired here for 5 years. I have never been stopped for anything and certainly never had to piss in a cup. Most of that time was spent on Sukhumvit and quite a bit around Asoke. If I ever do get stopped and shaken down or asked to piss in a cup; i will be making plans for an immediate departure the next day. That is totally unacceptable conduct.

I did my retirement extension a few months ago at Chiang Mai and consulate income letter was accepted, no problem. I had backup to prove the income but was told I didn't need it.

Why do you have to convert? Are you really prepared for that religious intolerance? That is what stopped me.

Big part of the problem is that the weight and size restrictions are rarely enforced. Really surprised that this guy got checked after boarding; that would probably make me more than a little annoyed but still no excuse for his behavior.

Yes, I switched to a Macbook; had my fill of microsoft.

Having escaped a marriage from hell a few years ago; I am not anxious to get back into another. I like my single life; especially in Thailand.

Certainly a good idea to check but it would be expected to be announced by Immigration headquarters ahead of time and implemented at all offices simultaneously. These guys seem to have continuing consistency issues.

Now we will all have to put up with more intrusive inspections until this dies down. Thanks so much to this dolt.

Probably because after meeting these women you find out they are a lot of fun, good sexually, smart, and just good to be with - in short many of the qualities you look for in a lifetime mate. Circumstances force many of these women into the work; I certainly don't hold it against them.

What a surprise; just keep changing the immigration laws almost daily and make sure that even Immigration officials don't know the laws.

This is getting beyond annoying. I have been carrying a copy of my passport front page and visa stamp. I want my passport locked up in a safe or being held for bike rental. It is also annoying that each immigration office is making their own rules; these should come only from the head Immigration official. I'm formulating my plan "B"; this doesn't go on in other countries.

Typical moslem action; there is no living with these people. They want their rights respected but have little or no respect for anyone else's.
