"When he got back and continued his career as a taxi driver, he found that he suffered constantly form headaches, nausea, and often heard conversations and sounds in his head."
Damned, now I have to look for a new taxi driver. Reliable drivers like this one are difficult to find in LOS ;-)

They might not have sex on Valentine's Day, but the rest of the year I know that most of the 12 - 18 years old in my area fuc_k like rabbits. I just came home late last night (3am) and saw one of the 14 year old girls coming home with her boyfriend, sleeping in the same hut and not with the parents. A 14-15 year old with a baby isn't something unusual here. Yes, and what is the legal age in Thailand to have sex?

Didn't this thing started due a UN resolution, that this Wat is now World Heritage? Why not just revoke the status? Just take away the toy when 2 children fighting over it.

Hi KruJoe,
yes the part is available from Ford Thailand... crazy-priced, as you so nice mentioned. It cost me in Thailand 2.600,- THB. I could get send two (one pack) from the Philippines for 3.700,- THB!! But what I do with the other one?? Sell it for 2.600,- THB?? ;-)

Hi MoonRiverOasis,
after your response to my thread was the only one, maybe you can be so helpful to provide me with the one or another Tel. number of junk yards in Thailand. I don't need one close by (Koh Samui), so it doesn' t matter, if it is in Hat Yai or Chiang Mai...
Thanks.

Hi there,
I am desperately looking for spare parts for Ford Everest (2004), especially a left front bumper flare. Anyone has telephone numbers of junk yards in Thailand, as I can't find any second hand parts on Koh Samui. Thanks.

Any chance to get some numbers of junk yards anywhere in the country, as I could call and order the desired piece??
Thanks.

I am from Koh Samui ;-)

Hi there,
where can I find Second Hand Spare Parts for Ford Everest/Ranger in Thailand. I am looking for a left Bumber Flare for Ford Everst/Ranger. I went to my local Ford Dealer and he would only sell me a new one for 2.600,- THB, which is quite expensive for a little piece of plastic. However, I am looking for something like a junk yard for old cars or second hand spare part dealer, but didn't find anything. I checked the Forum - no success. I checked the internet - no success. It seems the Thais don't have something like this, as they can drive/sell their cars until they fall apart.
Anyone know where I can find the spare part.
I'm missing the big junk yards in Europe, where you could find anything for cars to a reasonable price... ;-(

Thanks a lot for your information. I can remember that I read about three years ago here "somewhere" in the forum in a post that someone was buying his HIV meds in a pharmacy opposite a hospital. But even after looking for over one hour, I didn't find the post anymore. As far as I can remember the hospital name started with S..., maybye Sirikit Hospital, or Sirichai Hospital. I am not from BKK, so it is quite difficult for me, just to go around and check it out. My time in BKK will be very limited due to work issues. I also imagined that they won't sell me these meds without a prescription, thats why I mentioned that I will get one beforehand from my Doc at Bumrungrad. I know Thai Red Cross and I have to say, they were unbelievable understanding, caring and informative in the first month after my diagnose. But anyway, after weeks traveling from one hospital to the other, I ended up in Bumrungrad and like I mentioned, the doc I met there i very, very knowledgable about infectious diseases and made by far the best impression of all dos I visited before. Also, the general doctors fee with 750,- THB seems quite reasonable, if one considers, that he had to all my questions answers and was even willing to discuss different appoaches or ways of coping woth HIV, which isn't 'normal' for docs. The only thing is, that the meds ther are getting expensive, thats why I am looking for other options. So I will check out Thai Red Cross. But nevertheless, if anyone know a pharmcy, who is selling these meds (the real ones!!), please let me know. Thank you very much in advance.

I am HIV+ and go twice a year to Bumrungrad (which has an excellent Doc / Dr. Mondej Sokpranee) and was very happy with their services and pricing. I am on following cocktail since two years: 300 mg tablet called Viread and Lamivir (Lamivudine) 300 mg and 600 mg called Stocrin. My next visit is due in November and I need some information before I go. The economic downpour also affected my finances, so I have to make compromises in my life, and trying to reduce the cost of meds would be one of them. Now I heard that it is possible to get the meds at pharmacies at a lower price. I imagine the docs wouldn't like it and so my question is:
How do you get a prescription from your doc at Bumrungrad for the meds to by in a pharmacy?
Which pharmacy has hiv meds stored?
Do they have the same as the hospitals? I mean is the Stocrin really Stocrin or some fake replacement, like it is with a lot of other medications you can buy in pharmacies for a cheaper price?
Thanks for your reply

Soon there will be no tourists who need water. When the waste super Gau happens, all the tourists will be gone in a blink.
Should be mandatory for every one on the island (even tourists) to have at least one look to the incinerator in Hua Thanon.
Such a shame for this island.
