  1. do by internet banking, make sure your account has it for foreign remitances. Sing bank will exchange for u, better exchange rate that way.

  2. yes all banksin SIng are safe, and deposits guaranteed by Singapore govt. & with large amount you wantto speak to their Private Banking dept, rates/service better.   5. if you are seriously interested i can point you at a few banks in Singapore. These are international banks with good ratings. Advantage is the are in Singapore - which is Asian equivelant of Switzerland - privacy and low taxes.
