Well, I got my boxes last week.

What a disappointment. Many years ago I started to use Dreambox. Just the idea that it can be customized is for me a big plus. When I moved to Thailand 2 years ago I got not get the True Vision card working, but after searching the Internet I discovered a post which suggested to add some extra lines in the cfg file. After that I could use the card.

Anyway, now I am stuck worth the HD box of Truevision. Only 20 favorites and you have to scroll through the whole list.

I will see how it goes, because I do not see anyone getting the new card to work in the Dreambox anytime soon. Another option would be to aim my dish to another satellite and say goodbye to True.

Interesting though. The airport is protected by a wall of 3.5 meters high. What if the water reaches 3 meter? How will people get to the airport? By boat????

I guess he forgot to update his website with the new prices. That is why I now asked him to pay back the sum I paid. The difference between the Apple price and his price is now too big. I can wait it out. Besides I do not like to pay a price and then only to be paid more.

Thai online retailer bask1 are selling Ipad 2 starting at around 25,000 baht - double the price of the same spec Ipad 1. I know what I would buy if I was going to buy an Ipad.

I ordered this morning the 64Gb 3G model. It was listed on his side for THB 36'500, which is just a bit more expensive than the original price. Did a realtime transfer and 2 hours later he called me to tell me the price went up to THB 40'500.

I still have the order confirmation at the original price. Now he has changed it on his webside to THB 36'500.

I told him to either ship it for the price we agreed on or to give me back my money.

Let's see what happens.

37k for the 16G Wifi and 45k for the 64G. Did not check for the 3G models, because already these prices are out of the sky.

I start to have quite a value in electronics (TV's, computer equipment, sat. receivers, etc) and my photographic hobby is also "getting out of control".

So, I am looking at an insurance for these items against theft or damages.
