  1. it is easily contained. save for a stupid diplomat that left Lagos to Port Harcourt, it was already cornered in Nigeria. an american deliberately brought it to Nigeria. his name Patrick Sawyer. all 16 cases are traced to him and just 4 fatalities. Nigeria is unorganized and yet have it controlled .any half decent country can handle it

  2. Some Key Facts About EbolaRecently, the US Embassy put out a circular concerningEbola which includes how to recognise it and how toprevent yourself from getting infected. Below are some ofthe key points of that circular:

1.The suspected reservoirs for Ebola are fruit bats.

    2. Transmission to humans is thought to originatefrom infected bats or primates that have becomeinfected by bats.

    3. Undercooked infected bat and primate (bush) meattransmits the virus to humans.

    4. Human to human transmission is only achieved byphysical contact with a person who is acutely andgravely ill from the Ebola virus or their body fluids.

5.Transmission among humans is almost exclusivelyamong caregiver family members or health careworkers tending to the very ill.

6.The virus is easily killed by contact with soap, bleach, sunlight, or drying. A washing machine willkill the virus in clothing saturated with infected bodyfluids.

7.A person can incubate the virus without symptomsfor 2-21 days, the average being 5-8 days beforebecoming ill. THEY ARE NOT CONTAGIOUS until theyare acutely ill.

    8. Only when ill does the viral load express itself first inthe blood and then in other bodily fluids (to includevomit, feces, urine, breast milk, semen and sweat).

    9. If you are walking around you are not infectious toothers.

    10. There are documented cases from Kikwit, DRC of anEbola outbreak in a village that had the custom ofchildren never touching an ill adult. Children livingfor days in small one room huts with parents whodied from Ebola did not become infected.

    11. You cannot contract Ebola by handling money, buying local bread or swimming in a pool.

    12. As always practice good hand washing techniques, but you will not contract Ebola if you do not touch adying person.

  3. I could nt put the quotes above this.

I am a Nigerian and for once the new gay laws here got 99% support. Only one Nobel prize winner and few activists offered any dissenting opinion.

Our sick senators take home 5 times what a US senator does. Only 13% of our annual budget is appropriated for capital expenditure and still half of the 13% still evaporates into thin air.

I don't know about Russia, but Africans in Africa, in this century would never understand the rationale of seeing gay couple as normal.

The educated class will turn a blind eye to it as long as it's never promoted.

Why do gay couples always go to press with everything they accomplish without respecting the wishes of people who may abhor the practice. If these two teachers did nt start beating their chest with babies they spent so much to make, we would not be discussing gay couples intents and accomplishments now.

So long as the promote their lifestyle, there will always be people that will show their disagreement with their choices.

I would nt want to be a gay couples kid.

    What's this world turning into?

We used to have as many wives as we wanted in Africa. We gave up this practice and now we are to accept two males playing house with infants?

    Well, societies differ.

Are we to accept single parents to raise children?

In many countries today, that's very common.

Maybe just allow two opposite sex parents to have kids, and have the state take away the kids of any family that doesn't meet that standard?

    Sound good?

Nobody is realistically expecting most countries in the world to "accept" gay families at this stage.

Not in a world where countries like Russia and Nigeria are taking things BACKWARDS.

In some countries, it's progress for gay people just not to be locked up in prison or murdered just for being gay.

  6. The engineer is building cages in prison or living in one. I expected you should have kicked in a bit more flesh in that zone.

I avoid married women like plaque, don't care whether bg or hiso.

My MIL is the worst mother you can wish on anyone. Whenever I am talking with my ex and we start getting carried and being too nice to each other, I bring her mom in to the talk, and she will hurriedly have to attend to something else.

  7. Back in the day, I go to the military gun range in PP and fire away with those a k47, even with head gear and home made mufflers, my ear drums tingle for hours.

On auto I never hit the right points with a full clip, on normal single fire, every shot is accounted for.

From the back of a moving truck on auto fire I might end up shooting my self.

In godfather 1 micheal was told, son this is not the army where you fire from 1 mile and duck for cover. You need someone out, u ll need to walk up to them look them in the eyes, say a few choice words and then light them up.

Too many guns in Siam, just like home.
