  1. Thai's are known for their toleraance as well as their smiles.

This is true and has been for many years and I believe will be so for many more years to come. Perhaps its reporting or perhaps you only pick out the news you want to hear, have a look at whats going on in your area back home.

If you dont like it then go back to where you came from, stop whinging, probably a German anyway.

Tukylieth I buy cars all the time, I have recently bought a 13month old pick up with red plates still attached. Re registered it without a problem. Give the dealer some stick you should have it sorted within 3 months really. Correct about the restrictions though.

The red plate is a curtousy trade plate, if you lose them or they are stolen find out the replacement cost, you will need to lie down.

Things to do in Ranong - er visit hot springs.

Things not to do in Ranong :

    1. Visit a karaoke bar and pay 800 baht for the priviledge of a "hands" off girl to sit with you, have 2 singhas, 2 coca colas and buy her some kow pat.

    2. Never, ever allow the locals to suggest a young Burmese girl visits your hotel room.

    3. Never, ever visit a brothel at Victoria Point.

Get your visa business done and get the ###### out of town.

Damned good advice, all I will add is the quicker you do it the happier you will be when back in Hua Hin.

  5. Many thanks for the pm's from all the locals on Hua Hin or Cha Am.

I have completed a contract for a very nice Condo in Hua Hin and have now settled in comfortably with the wife. The people here are great and helpfull. Foodland will open in about a month and Tesco already has which is a plus.

I know I have made the correct choice, the pm's just backed up the info I gathered from various sites/forums, did not like the negative vibe's from people who have visited or lived or know people from Cha Am. I have since visited Cha Am and got to know various Ex Pats in Hua Hin who have backed it all up. Cha Am is indeed where all the f-=*ed up farrang live.

Go to Cha Am at your perillllll. All hard luck stories from idiots who have nowt.

Hey the Shark Bar is worth a visit, Soi 0.

Dave good start for your little con, I enjoy my trips to B Fact and Lam Morrison is something else, ask him to do a solo "Puff the Majic Dragon" I am serious. Last time I heard him play it was in Hua Hin at the Rockestra. Ask him.

See you next time I am up.

    Steve
