19th May is surely a BLACK DAY in history of Thailand.

Those who claimed themselves to be the patriots put a scare on the face of their loyalty for country.

Why leaders surrender. To save more loss of life or property OR just to save their own lives and carrier in politics.

While they can do it earlier through given Road Map

They are OVER REACTING thats it. But for sure " NOT GOOD FOR THAI NATION".

I'm guessing that this will mostly affect Bangkok and those of us outside Bangkok will just see a few extra road blocks.

I can only imagine that the police themselves won't be too keen to implement this in pro-Taksin areas such as Chiang Mai and Issan.

I wonder if this will prompt foreign countries to again recommend their citizens to avoid Thailand

There is nothing serious about it. Every Government makes Grounds for future happenings and this is a part of this. No one can steal weapons in such huge quantities. Its all about making an stage for up-comming DRAMA.
