  1. Hello,

I've been reading the forum and seeing some posts about tourist visas being hard to get in Penang and Kota Bharu. I already have several Thai tourist visas in my passport and will be travelling to Malaysia in a couple of weeks hoping to get another one. Can anyone advise where is the best embassy (Penang, KB, or Kuala Lumpur) to get this? I'm on a UK passport.

    Cheers,

    Chris.

  2. Thanks for the replies.

    Hi Lite Beer,

Are you sure that I will get another 60 days at any border crossing? The info I got was that the border crossing near Mae Sot, (Myawaddy I believe on the Myanmar side), was not an official border crossing, or some such terminology, and therefore the second 60 days isn't given there. The person who told me this lives in Mae Sot and seemed to know what he was talking about.

    Any thoughts?

  3. Hello,

I have a double entry tourist visa, obtained from the Thai consulate in Vientiane. I want to get the second entry for another 60 days, so need to leave Thailand and re-enter. Was thinking of doing this at the Myanmar border near Mae Sot, but was told this is not a proper border station for doing this (that my tourist visa would be cancelled and I'd get 15 days instead). Does anyone know if I can get another 60 days at the border at Ranong, or if not, then at which border crossings I can?

    I've got a UK passport.

    Cheers,

    Chris.

  4. Hi,

I have a UK passport and applied to get a multiple entry tourist visa at the Thai embassy in London, but instead received just a single entry tourist visa. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the multiple entry visa? Perhaps I just filled in the form wrong.

Also, is it possible to get the multiple entry visa at Thai embassies or consulates in countries neighbouring Thailand (Laos, Malaysia, etc.)?

    thanks,

    Chris.
