  1. It can be an Asian country but it does get cold in the mountains an I'm quite sure HYPOTHERMIA is the culprit, alcohol is not an anti-freeze for long duration of passing out drunk. So be careful you alcoholic guys get a warm body as your blanket in Chang Mai it's actually more cozy and comfortable and you'll wake up alive maybe with hangover but you can drink another night.

  2. I think the gov't officials would like to see that entertainment biz in Phuket to die since most of these businesses are owned by farangs and the Thai people aren't getting anything from it but work. They want to be partners without any capitalization involved. Hehehe typical Thai mentality.

    Sad aint it!!!! :o

  3. HI gUYS,

i'M HERE IN mANILA RIGHT NOW SO DO be cautious of this typhoon it created a lot of damage and flush floods here in the Philippines.

It can pick up strenght when it gets there thru warm waters hopefully alll will be well but I've texed my wife to get ready. You all have 72 hours.

Good luck to all who lives by Phuket and Samui. :o

  4. but why pick on the falang areas.

Thaksins war on drugs is won perhaps!!!! :D

you would think more suitable uses of the polices time could be found.....how about all the teenage boys carrying gus for a start.

Cos that is where Farangs are taking drugs!!!

You know about Teenage boys carrying guns because you see it on the news after they are arrested.

Just say NO to drugs. :o

An excellent reason to get fined"not carrying your passport"

Hello we know all they just want to increase revenue for the coffers

  5. Would it help to publish the picture of this policeman in public so that he can easily be identified and brought to justice?

It will help all other farangs looking for him if they supply the photo and maybe we can help the authorities to locate and bring this goof to them since he is armed and dangerous and a bounty is on his head does this mean we can help the authorities to look for this guy and deal with him before he gets shot and delivered "DEAD OR ALIVE"?

One thing that I like to give credit to the British is that at least they are pursuing this matter and it seems that the govrnment means business on this couples incident. I wish other countries will look after their citizens overseas like this.

My deepest sympathies to the family of this couple.

    Go get him guys!!!!!!!

  6. I MUST BELIEVE IN THE SAYING"FOR EVERY ACTION THERE IS A REACTION"

SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO APPLY IT AND OTHERS GET HURT SPECIALLY THE INNOCENT.

JUST STOP THIS NON-SENSE AND GO WITH THE FLOW

HANG LOOSE MONGOOSE ATTITUDE MUST BE APPLIED AND LIFE WILL BE EASIER!

IF THEY WILL ONLY TRY IT!!! SORRY ABOUT THE LOST LIVES,I HOPE THEY'RE HAPPIER AND PEACEFUL SOMEWHERE ELSE.

  7. It's not unusual to have your own jet if you have the money to buy one but was this acquisition paid by the Thai people?

If so it must be given to some form of government agency for it to be looked after(like the air force) and can be used for legitimate government use only not for private hoohahs etc.

Must be nice to use the country's funds so easily in buying one of these birds!!

  8. Wow this is great news with a little bit of ooops!!!

Will the astraunaut bring his ration of SOM TAM and Barb-b-que Chicken

    and gau ped moo????

Mr. PM must be dreaming, they can't even fix the system to be part of the common

market let alone have a plan to go to space, must be the olympic gold fever that

    started this new disease.

Anyway for all good purposes GOOD LUCK!!!!!

  9. What a waste that the Government just let Chang Mai go to waste just like that.

Don't they know that you put money back in the business so as it will keep it's luster oinstead of being greedy and just taking all in without spending for improvements!!! Typical Thai mentality of greed.

  10. It seems to me that the controls are tightening up and am surely feeling that the Thai gov't doesn't want any foreigners to stay for an indefinite period of time.

This saddens me personally for it seems that it is starting to be the "Land of Frowns" instead of the " Land of Smiles".

I just hope for the others that they can sort out their visa problems and be allowed the freedom of choice of where they want to live, whether here or somewhere else.

    Good luck to everyone!!!

  11. I think that this new manuever of the gov't is simply a tactical fishing scheme to find out if they can "CONTROL"" businesses abroad just as if they do here in Thailand. Another example of this "CONTROL" scheme is the Carlsberg deal.

Only in Thailand!!!!!Maybe the next excuse will be,since they can only have 1 director in the board with a 30% stake is not acceptable and therefor they can cancel or renag on the deal. Isn't this typical Thai way of doing business!!!
