  4. Two horses in a pub

Horse 1: How's the racing going

Horse 2: It's funny you should say that, the other day I was racing a Redcar and I was winning the race, then in thye final straight I had this pain in my leg and I couldn't even finish the race

Horse 1: That's amazing, the same thing happened to me the other day at Newmarket, I was in the final straight just about to come first and bam! pain in my leg and I couldn't finish

    Greyhound overhears converstaion

Greyhound: Sorry to interrupt, I couldn't help hearing what you just said, it's just that the same thing happened to me the other night at White City, final straight and a pain in my leg prevented me from completing the race.

Horse 1 (looks at horse 2) Fúck me a talking dog! :o

  5. Hello

Last time I came to Thailand I was there from Nov to feb and the weather was good, rained quite a bit but no problem

Is there any time to avoid, have I missed the best weather?

  6. Hello again, well I've resigned from my job and want to come to Thailand. I don't want to work, or run a business, or buy property anymore, I just want to come and relax and travel around for as long as I can (maybe 6 months or longer) and use this time to look into things and then maybe look at a more permanent situation

    I'm British, 39 nearly 40 years old.

What would be my best visa,

I expect I'll need to renew it a few times

    :o Symzie

  7. Thanks

George, I'm British.  Would it be easier to find work once I'm there or do I need a job first.  Is it a chicken and egg situation ie can't get job without visa / can't get visa without job (like Australia.)

That's an interesting link dazdaz, I think I've always handled culture change well, I've spent time in India, SE Asia and South Pacific and always felt comfortable and adapted well

  8. Hi

I'm new to this so sorry if I'm asking questions you've heard a 100 times.  I'm looking to emmigrate to SE Asia and need some information on a few things

How easy is it to get residency inThailand?  If it's not easy, do I get a temp visa and keep renewing it once I'm there?

Can I work? I'm qualified in IT, hows the market,is it legal?

I've heard that you can own a condo but not a house, or is better to rent

Thanks in advance for any help
