An honest statement  from Chiang Mai Ram Hospital:

since the factory producing AstraZeneca is not able to provide a timely delivery until the 14th June 2564
therefore the inoculation in the 2nd week between 14-20 June 2564 will be performed only for persons who are prepared to receive the Sinovac vaccine.

This is the only honest thing you will ever get from

  2. I went to Chiangmai Ram for a different problem and while there the wife was worried and asked for a covid19 test for me. I was on a gurney and after the covid test they parked me in a hallway full of people for a couple of hours while checking my temperature and blood pressure with no more protection than a mask. After being passed by dozens of people they said I had to be moved to a "special" covid room, while in this "special" room everyone that came in had to ware the full body covering gloves, booties, full head covering etc. After a couple more hours they said the test was negative so I went to pay the bill and leave. The bill was over 26,000 baht so I complained and they showed me the bill fee the "special" room it was almost 10,000 baht... I had to pay for this after they left me out in a public hallway for hours ?  I still don't know why,  stupidity,  do not understand covid protocol,  greed   I am guessing the latter..........  Is this why Chiang Mai is a red zone ?

By the way they didn't solve the problem I was there for in the first place ( gallstones ) but the next day I went a few blocks away to the university hospital and in a few hours they found and fixed the gallstones for less than 5,000 baht. You can guess what hospital I will NEVER go to again.

Thanks. If you remember the name of the company that helped you get the fiance visa p[lease PM me! I am trying to get a lady to the US.

    elgenon

Sorry I don't know how to PM.. I never used a company ( all crooked) Just go to the web site "visa journey.com and or the US gov site ( homelandsecurity.gov)

Visa journey can lead you through step by step or you can hire a lawyer and waste $3,000us for him to tell you what forms and other paperwork YOU have to collect anyway and he just puts it together and submits it for you.

You can PM me if you need more info and I will try to figure out how to answer ...

OOPS I just remembered === If I had to do it over I would take her to Singapore or Hong Kong (assuming she has a passport ) ( needs one either way) marry her there then apply to US. Look into it cause it will be faster and cheaper and she will get a green card when she lands here instead of waiting 2 more years and about another $ 1,000 bucks.

    Best of luck

Wonderful! I don't know how you were able to get her into the states. Any secret?

I tried to marry her in Thailand for 3 years with no luck. Burmese gov. will not allow it, long long story with many dead ends and many trips to BKK and Yangon.

Many scam companys in Thailand say they can do it and give you the "flowery marrage cert." but it's not legal. I finally had to get a finace visa to the states, an expensive and long process but worth it.

Visa Journey.com was a big help

  5. I have been with a Burmese (Shan) woman for 8 years and married for the last 3. I am 65 and she is 35. We met in Chiang Mai and lived there for 5 years before moving back to the states for an extended visit (she wanted to see snow & I wanted her to see the American west) .. I had a few Thai girl friends before I met her and I wouldn't trade her for any and every women in Thailand.. My wife has the attitude, beliefs, values, etc: that my grandmothers generation had and she still surprises me about how smart a person with a 3rd grade education can be ( she speaks 4 languages ). Every morning- and I do mean EVERY morning I open my eyes I see her SMILEING face. By the way ,when we move back to asia it will be Burma never Thailand again, My visits to Burma proved (at least to me ) that they are way more friendly and unlike Thai's they are willing to learn.

  6. Good luck, I tried to marry a Myanmar citizen for over 3 years in Chiang Mai with no luck. I tried every agent I could find, followed every lead I heard about, made multiple trips to Bangkok and a few trips to Myanmar all with no luck. I even sent her back to her village and she got all the gov. papers signed and stamped, brought them to Yangon got more gov. papers signed and stamped. Brought them all to the local Chiang Mai gov. amper and was told I needed one final Myanmar stamp from the Myanmar embassy in Bangkok. One more trip to Bangkok and all is well ?? The Myanmar embassy in Bangkok told me "we don't give that stamp any longer" and they closed the window and walked away, period, End of story

I finally had to apply for a fiance visa to the USA and after one year more ( and $$$ ) I got her to the US and married her there ( 2 years ago ). I have never been happier and wouldn't trade her for ANY Thai woman.

Be careful some agents clame they can get you the "flowery marrage certificate" but it's expensive and NOT legal.

You can try the web site "<<invalid URL removed>> they have help with any country's visa in the world ( marrage or otherwise ).

    Best of luck to ya

  7. You could buy my smoker - it comes with 3lbs. of tenderquick and 6lbs. of Mortons brown sugar cure.

Where do you buy one of them in thailand

TruValue in Bangkok has a Weber Smokey Mountain (google it, google can ne your friend ;) ) but it's sadly 31,000 baht :o . So I'm sure it's cheaper to get one made or just buy Redneck's.

Also, they're not hard to make out of an old fridge. I keep thinking about making one myself, but I can hot smoke on my bbq as well as I require and this style of smoker is no good for cold smoking. I really want to be able to cold smoke but that's not so easy to do at home, especially in this heat!

WOW 31,000... That makes mine sound like a steal especially with all the extras.

When I make bacon I keep the temp at about 125 - 130 and never had any complaints.

Back home we always considered it cold smoked if it was below 140 but I know some people think it shouldn't be over 100. I guess it's just personal preference.

  8. You could buy my smoker - it comes with 3lbs. of tenderquick and 6lbs. of Mortons brown sugar cure.

Do you mean the smoker ? I bought it from a friend who had it made here and got too old to use it. I have never seen another one in Thailand

The tenderquick ? I brought it from the states.

I am going back to the states for an extended period so I'm selling most of my stuff.

I put an add in the classifieds:

    http://classifieds.t...-etc-96896.html

Could it all be transported to Surin the Issan one ?? the whole kit and kaboodle.

Sure anything can be shipped.. I had a honda wave mailed at the post office from Phetchabun to Chiang Mai for 900 baht. Only in Thailand !!
