  1. I have sent you a PM.

Thanks a lot for your PM Asiacat,it is much appreciated.

On another note,I placed an ad on a certain site to ask for a native English teacher and got the following reply

hello my name khun david .

hi i just speake to you the mobile phone ,

i would like you to express my interest in teaching the student privately

if this is of interest to you please reply !!

    kind regards

    khun david

Do you think I should take Khun David's resume in consideration? This guy is in fact an English native and claims to have a teaching license in Thailand.

Don't focus to much on NATIVE English, better focus on English Speaking TEACHERS. :jap:

  2. I'm a qualified female teacher (BA in education). I've been teaching children (3-14) English, Mathematics, Science, Computer etc. at their homes in Pattaya/Rayong for over 10 years.

Before I worked at a private school in Pattaya but that was a waste of energy and the school was not worth the money parents had to pay.

I'm non-native English but it became my second language. Please send me a PM if you're in need of a homeschool teacher for your child. I'll take care of all materials needed.

Nobody who can offer any advise as where to look for a teacher?

  3. ^shouldn't it be moved to the Ladies Forum so some of the ill informed posters can get a good bashing from you ladies that are married to Thais?

I didn't know this was "a men forum"...

I'm a western women and (still) married to a Thai man.

I've lived in Thailand for over nine years so have met many western men who have Thai girlfriends.

The problems they have with their girls are similar to the probs I have with my man.

And yes, I did marry him out of love (not for the money... what money?).

Family comes first? No way! Money still number one! The family is just an excuse for the money.

Phrases like "I want to take care" or "I need your help" is always about money.

The first years were great fun but two years ago my husband became a heavy drinker and a bad liar.

When Thais have problems they start to drink (men and women) instead of solving them and social drinking doesn't

exist in their vocabulary, they drink til their drop.

Some months ago he came home drunk as usual, started to break down the furniture and then lay his hand on me.

I ended up in the hospital and kicked him out (with some help from friends).

Heartbroken, home alone but never a Thai man again!! :jap:

  4. n

I saw the message using my Kasikorn card in a Bangkok Bank ATM, the other day.

Thanks for your message. Most likely it will mean indeed somelike this, that a card from another bank will need to pay after 4 times use, but then again, Kasikorn is in the same ATM pool. The message is quite missleading. Well, I will try it when I take my foreign bank card this week.

And..... did they charged you the 150 THB?

  5. Girls who like everybody!!! That is so cute. How would you say that in Thai, Puying chop tuk khun?

สาวที่ชอบทุกคน = Sauw ti chop tuk khon :jap:

That's my man. You've done your home work. But 'sao' is not Thai - it is Lao/Isan. A BKK lady of the night should be properly adressed as a หญิง or สตรี.

    Yours faithfully,

    ph

Thanks PH, I learn every day!
