  1. I know that sendspace or speedyshare are often used to download motorcycle manuals but download sites like that also charge users if they want to download more than just a few files that is one of the reasons why we not use them.

Anyway the two files you want I can send by email they are PDF text documents so easy to compress to something like 3.5mb. PM me your email address and you have the files in a few minutes

ok PM with email sent :)

    bump for English version heheh....

  3. The problem you have with downloading are probably because you have a Google account open in your browser (gmail, adsense, adword, anything like that), the documents are public available and somehow this doesn't work if you're using a open Google account. I can make the documents available for login users but than everybody without a gmail account would have problems downloading....

Google is aware of this bug and they working on it... (not only for our website...)

I tried it with different browser and cleared cookies...Same problem...Wouldn't it be easier to just upload it to sendspace or speedyshare :) ?...

Btw. if motorcycles in thailand is your website I highly recommend it to everyone :) !!! ;]

  4. Hey Richard...I can't download them it says that i don't have permission for it...

Could you please upload manual and service book for Wave I 125 (same as anf 125 i Innova in England,I'm in Europe now and have this bike here ) to some service like http://www.speedyshare.com/ or http://www.sendspace.com/ ?? Much appreciated....If you'd ask your friends in England about that manuals in English :) that would be great too...Thanks

  5. I have both the Service manual and the user manual of the Wave 125i but they both in Thai... (but maybe Thai is better than nothing?)

yes, of course it's better than nothing...I guess anyway that scheme of electric installation is in graphic/ international fomat ? :)

Do you have that books in electronic/ pdf format ?? That would be great....Thanks

  6. It's similar in Poland. Many people work their nuts off in order to buy a car (often on credit) and don't understand those who don't feel the need to brag about an expensive car and prefer to go everywhere by bike (with or without an engine) - for pleasure and/or in order to avoid traffic jams.

we in Wroclaw ride bicycles :)

  7. after 40 minutes stop (engine was very hot indeed, took a lot of time to cool it ;] ) bike was running without any problems...again, top speed for around 40 minutes, some break and again top speed for 40 minutes...so after that strange pause almost 150 km without any problems on top speeds mostly.

I changed oil 2000 kms ago, and AFAIK you should do this every 4000 km ?

As I said above, bike is running now again smoothly, I am only wondering what happened...I was riding on express way in Poland, and I would like to avoid such situations again, because this could be dangerous.....

So far I have only two hypothesis:

    1. engine was too hot indeed and it switched itself off to cool,

    2. i putted accidently neutral from 4, but I don't feel that I did it....

    thanks

  8. Only time I can think of similar was bush bashing a wave up a steep hill (totally silly off road jungle fun) and cooked it so it 'almost' seized.. Cut out and after I let it cool and start again it ran but weak and sounded like a bag of bolts.. Cant remember if it only needed rings or a new barrel.

I am fairly sure theres no automatic switch, and it wouldnt also move the gear selector into neutral, thats a mechanical thing not an electronic one.

hmm so i putted neutral from 4 :o ?.... hmmmm

i have that model with fuel injection 125i

  9. Hey, i was riding constantly for almost one hour at top speed around 100 km/h...Suddenly, bike last its power and stopped in few seconds...The gear was in position 'neutral' after stop....So, I wonder now...Is there some kind of automatic engine temperature switch off for overheating security or I just accidently putted neutral from 4 ( highly doubt it though....)

I don't have LED control of engine overheat....

have you experienced something like this ever in this model ? or in other "waves" ?

  10. Hey, I was riding in Asia around 10 k kilometers with no problems (mostly automatic scooters though). Now I'm in europe , I ride honda wave 125i and after some time i hear ringing in my ears ;). I wonder why, besided that exhauster for this model is 'endurance-sports' - so quite noisy bastard (from the previous owner-idiot), but i mounted db killer over there and replacing whole exhauster soon...

Anyway, could be that these thai 300 baht helmets that i was using are safer for ears because they are not so closed like most european models ? or what ? i don't want to become deaf soon...do you/did you have similiar problems ?

    cheers

  11. Hello, I'm in Europe now, and i got offer for buying 3 years old Honda Innova (same model as Honda Wave, but for European market)...It has 35,000 km on its clock....So i wonder...how long more it could run...The guy who is selling it told me that he already changed shock absorbers....Bike looks like this...http://tiny.pl/h7764 It was mainly used in Greece, so probably it was running most of the time every day 12 months/ year, because of hot weather (like in Thailand...) The price with registration is almost 1300 usd hahah, I know it's not so cheap, but it's not Asia , it's Europe ;-(

so what do you think about these 35.000 km ?

    thx

  12. The hotel or wherever you are staying my have a wifi, you should check with them. You can use your phone easily in Thailand to connect to internet by connecting phone to your computer with bluetooth or other means. Call the the company of whatever sim you use, DTAC, AIS, ect for details. A bit slow but it works at 1 baht a minute.

    you can get 150 hours for 500 bt per month...so it's a bit lower than 1 bt/ minute :):D

  13. get real....

so....just pays money that motorbike is worth as deposit ?

because they also want to have some feeling of security....

CC and passport is quite different i think.....with credit card it's easy access to money for them, with passport ? to what ? you still will be safe because you are the owner of ORIGINAL passport, in case another person will try to use it...

and these motorbike rentals that took money from CC: are they still in business ?

what profit would make someone from your passport, if he is running his business longterm ? there is no such thing as reputation here ;] ?

  14. make a copy of passport with visa stamp....-> for those in hotels demanding hard your passport (if ID/ driver license wouldn't be sufficent for them)

usually the only thing they are interested is that you pay and don't destroy room/hotel+don't distrub other guests...so if you are OK with these, shouldn't be any problem....

I travelled 2 months in Thailand without passport (deposit for motorbike rental), stayed in dozens of places, and there was only one that couldn't let me in without passport....anyway, i stay in places for under 500 bt room :) so mostly guesthouses, homestays and cheap hotels....

i think that with copy of passport you shouldn't have any problems in hotels

  15. single travelling tourist...from end of november for 3 months....
