  2. There's a Thai folk-song that goes along the lines of;

The train to Korat is so fast,

When you arrive you can still smell you Bangkok fahrt.

This could make that real, but in a country that cannot complete a few miles of sky-train extension and doesn't integrate any of its transport hubs, there ain't a chance of it happening.

Because of the Chinese backing this will happen and will be economically a win win situation for Thailand, great news for Thailand and Laos.

Love the song, which folk song does it come from? :whistling:

  3. The 50,000 professional footballers belonging to the players’ unions across the world that form FIFPro received voting forms in a secret ballot to nominate their peers for inclusion in their World XI – choosing the best four defenders, three midfielders, three forwards and goalkeeper of 2010.

They probably did get votes but just not enough as the household names worldwide you are a tad cynical sometimes lads...emerging russian league?

Dzeko i agree had a great 2009 with Wolfsburg and is still scoring for them regularly

Kiessling is in the same catagory as Berbatov,<deleted>

  4. The road works ie; widening of the main road from the city is really nothing to do with where you would park your car for a week, there are many places to park behind the main road you only have to stop and ask at one of the many shops around and they would point you in the right direction or more than likely put your car in there own garage for a small fee 500 bt.

  5. i'd like to know why FIFA thinks that there are only 5 leagues in world football. telling me players from brasil or argentina's leagues shouldn't have featured in this? or how about luis suarez, uruguayan who plays in holland and who scored about 60 goals last season.

fifa are a bunch of cun_ts.

Come on Stevie cant you see the logic Berba is picked...sort of sums it all up really.

But i am sure this is picked by the players themselves in each Association,i may be wrong?

  7. I have retired from my collecting days(sadly)i find the constant threats of kidnapping and violence to threatining nowadays,,my son is doing well though he drives to school now in a pick-up and eats in KFC every lunchtime, never asks for money and keeps his bed room door locked........I could always call him on his I-phone 4 or mail him on his I-pad to see if he has the time like his father to enter this forum and start dealing or get his corporals to contact you.Be warned though he is bigtime now and swaps of your Panini doubles and trebles could lead to you biting off more than you can chew.

    Good luck Tom.

  8. Enjoyed the meet up Rus...told you at 2-0 down there was still something there for us mate, although by then it was the drink talking!! i did notice we where the last ones to leave :whistling: after watching cidy, anyway hope you have a great trip to VN and see you around new year hopefully, hopefully Mr BJ will be around also!

Are Monks allowed to watch the Footie mate :D

  9. Awww how i miss my collection. :D

Welcome back Nad. Where have you bee....hitchiking in antartica of something like?

Nothing as exciting as that .......just work mate kept me away from my usual drab and drivil scribblings here :P just going for a hearty brecky now and then enjoy a saturday sesh!!

Oh.....whens that Bale signing for United? I do like him :P

  10. Although I agree that we will not win the league this year, it's just too early. ...early pre- season confidence put to bed then after 3 games

If ageing Chelsea get a few injuries most notably to Drogba and Rooney doesnt play as he did in most of last season it'll be a hel_l of a leveller, Man Citys overall squad is the best in the league its just a matter of finding out how well they can play together. just because they paid fortunes for them it does not mean they are the best in the league, just look at Spurs!

If Mancini was to be doing his job to the standard he's paid for he'd have dealt with Bellamy who'd have given you a better chance imho, hes better then Cruz and Adebayor...........At what? causing problems in the dressing room!

  11. JS...get on with it,i think BJ is just making a point :jap: ,everyone respects the job you do and the time it takes.....also i will point out CIDY did lose yesterday so the bitters are not happy! :whistling: keep up the good work and enjoy your piss-up.
