Why not give the details of the car ?
I am in Korat and if the price is below 200k, I'm interested.

No, it doesn't. Now only wise. I think they changed their name a few month ago from transferwise to wise,
Any more questions ?

Sometimes I wonder what country some of you guys live in.
I have never met anyone thai or farang that did not at least smile or nod if I smiled or said a quick hi to them
Op must look very scary or like some idiot who want to start a conversation with a total stranger.
Maybe your appearance is very pleasant. My smiles and hi's were more often replied when I was young and handsome. But now ? old bum of 75, pah...

Hello Mai,
in case you still have the Camry, I would like to ask for a few good photos of it.
What is the mileage of the Camry ? How many previous owners ? Was the car ever involved in an accident ?
Where is the car now.
Regards from Korat

Cutting in is a national pastime in this country where road courtesy is pretty much non existent. Unfortunately if you do practice rode courtesy and etiquette you will simply remain stationary. In the times I have allowed so one to go in front of me their look of complete bewilderment and of course no indication of thanks and what must be a conversation between them as “he must be stupid”. I’ve always maintained you can read so much from a population just from its driving etiquette.
I would go as far as to say that driving in Thailand is probably the thing I dislike most about the country as it’s nearly always an unpleasant experience.
Can you ever get such a rewarding feeling in your home country when you have reached your destination safely ? It's an adventure every time you hit the road. Ouuhhh, I made it again ! Great satisfaction.

He could go home to his province but chooses to beg in Pattaya and doing quite well according to the article, many worse off than him who haven’t been given 90,000 baht.
Hopefully he’s counting his blessings.
Supposed his home province is Isarn, do you really think he could find a job there rather than in Pattaya ?
Or do you suggest he should live of the meager savings of his family.
Be thankful not to be in the shoes of the thousands and thousands who lost their jobs in thailand and many other countries.

get ready, prepare the beds and the medication
Covid 19 death rate of less than 0.5 %, less than any given flu season. 90 % of the ones who died were multiple morbid and over 80. Guess most of them died with Covid not because of Covid. And people panicing and <deleted>ting in their pants. Ruining economies will cost far more lives than Covid 19.
Afraid of what ? To die ? You'll die anyway. Sooner or later, for sure.

Try living next to 10 dogs that howl all night.
I'd suggest to kill the owner(s) of the dogs first.

Sometimes I'm thinking of moving back to Thailand. But then I remember the garbage, the noise anytime and everywhere, and the hassle of 90 day reports and extensions of visa... No, not really.
Still missing some things like the climate, mangoes, girls, generally friendly people, my motocy...
Well, can't have everything.

I advise you to advise your friend not to do abortion. It is not only dangerous to your friend (she might have trouble giving future births) but also cruel to the baby.
There are organisations in Thailand that will accept unwanted babies for future adoptions. I have been to one in Bangkok but I forgot its name.
There are many childless couples in Thailand and in the world that will adopt the baby.
Best answer. Thanks for posting.

Horror as newborn baby eaten by monitor lizards...
Missleading headline. Should read: 'Discarded newborn partly eaten by lizards.'

Lots of money spent, lots of hard work and for what? A series of very minor infringements. Given the crime rate across the country, you have to ask if the money and effort wouldn't be better spent policing the local population perhaps?
Or policing the police ?

making people buy bags instead = profit
And "profit" for the environment.
Look around, it's such an ugly sight plastic bags swimming in the rivers, seas, lying on the beaches, left and right of streets, hanging on fences, trees and bushes.
I think, the problem are not the bags but the way they are handled after use. Same with all the other one way throw away articles. People never learn to respect mother earth.

It's difficult for me to work out which nationality is more obsessed by money - Thais, Chinese, Indians or Americans. Help me out, please.
All the same. People are people. People are greedy and the more they can get the more greedy they become.

Because all of the people in power in Thailand have millions and millions of baht in the bank. They can reap the rewards of the inflated currency by buying investments and properties overseas at a huge discount whilst the baht stays propped up. If the baht drops, so does their apparent wealth when they travel abroad to buy their Bentleys, Rolexes and apartments in Paris and London.
Hence they don't want to blame the baht, they will blame everything else for as long as possible to keep the house of cards propped up. They obviously put their personal wealth at a higher priority to the economic prosperity of the country, but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who lives in Thailand and has seen the god-like reverence in which the super-rich elite are held.
Is that any different in other countries ? I don't think so.
Just replace Thailand with another ...land and the Baht with €, $, Pound...

" But it is unacceptable and highly escalatory to threaten shipping going about its legitimate business through internationally recognized transit corridors. " ---> BUT THAT IS exactly what the British did in Gibraltar .
But... they are entitled to do so.
Just like the Yanks are entitled to do just about anything; right or wrong.
Oh, what a wonderful world we live in.

Neil, you are great. And you are so lucky to have such a wonderful wife.
Wish there were more people like her in high positions in governments and companies.
Heart of gold she must have.
Best wishes to both of you.
