What is the best value for money Internet connection for condominium?
plus7 replied to topswijaya's topic in IT and Computers
Hi, If you rent, simply get internet via mobile. Mobile internet is good in Thailand. If you bought the condo ask administration what providers have connections to condo. It may be that you will have no choice. -
Mass killing exposes deep problems in Thai society
plus7 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Such vague words "This <something> revealed problems in a society: <list of whatever> " can work for any politician. On my opinion, crazy people can be absolutely in every society. -
Hi, I will save you 20 minutes: The prosperity of UK (and Europe in whole) in the recent 40 years was based on cheap labour (Asia) and cheap energy (Russia). Particularly UK seemed to be a country protecting private property as Switzerland used to be, but now everyone can see it can be easily overridden.

Almost refused entry at Suvarnabhumi
plus7 replied to PattayaKevin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I think she was just curious and wanted a date with someone with 1st class ticket. She felt you're almost trapped, that's why she didn't believe you about the marriage and asked for proofs. Probably she was very upset. -
AC indoor unit installation height?
plus7 replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
It is only about air rotation and ease of cleaning/maintenance. -
If there were jets and cheap travels that times you would see a flow from US during Vietnam war. Ok, some other examples: Ukraine. They do run away too. The price on the border in spring was ~ $5k. Not really affordable to just everyone. At the end of summer they bought fake "university enrollment certificates". This was blocked after some time .. Now Ukraine just don't let potentials solders leave the country. Disclaimer: I don't deny that Ukrainians are brave fighters. Another example: Libya, Sirya - young men prefer to be a fugitives in Europe instead of fighting. I believe you know about it. And finally, the whole France in 1940. Of course, there were 7 brave members of Resista`nce who were filmed in 9 movies.

Yes, yes.... I but it happened in US history and Vietnam war. Do you want to discuss it too ? I doubt, it is such an obvious topic. Don't you know that even Ukranians try to escape draft too ? About russians, some flee, but much more go to the war. With fears, but go.

Coming soon to Pattaya: Capone’s Pizza, great food supporting a great cause
plus7 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
"A good portion of the profits [Capone's profit] will go to Thai charities"... Do the plan to pay taxes as their hero ? -
No. not like in this video. If something strike this rocket field area, rockets won't be able to start/fly because of a dust. So, modern rockets are based on trains and submarines.

Is this the problem for Thai society ? I think it is not. He is a tourist, he spends money. It would be a problem if he had some social responsibilities like going to work, or kids to care, but he came here to relax and enjoy. I think society should not blame him (unless he beat someone or damaged property).

Is UK A Good Destination for Higher Education
plus7 replied to JoeKok's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
It is a question for me too. My experience tells me that kids should study where they are supposed to live further. It will let them to establish important social relations. Maybe find future partner. However, if you're a Thai, have enough connections, they can go study and come back. -

Dazinoz, It can be a leak or piping done incorrectly. Yes, it is from experience. I doubt it is related to bacteria in a tank. -
Hi, Due to bad maintenance the engine is broken. How difficult is to make changes in the documents for an engine replacement in unofficial workshop? Are "special techniques" to avoid engine re-registration common in Thailand ?

How does the Baht stay so strong ??
plus7 replied to fulhamster's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Hi, I think UK financial policy may not be completely pro-UK policy. They are players on the global financial market and pound is just a tool for financial sharks. -
Exactly, that's what I also was thinking about. You, farangs, who are so strong moralists why wouldn't you participate, pay with your expenses, struggle for those principles by living in your countries? Instead, you prefer to stay in still inexpensive Thailand which is trying to find a balance in a difficult economical and political situation.
