  1. when you say "whole durian" did you eat the inner creamy fruit only or did you eat the entire durian including the spikey skin? If you ate the spikes i would log off and get to a pharmacy such as Boots or Watsons first thing tomorrow morning, assuming you live through the night. God Bless u and don't eat any durian for the next 24 hours. God Bless You!

  2. Still have yet to try T&S, but will have to do so in the next week or so. La Monita was good when I went there, the burrito wasn't huge, but had a nice taste. I really like their torta and the the carne asada fries (even though that is probably just partly mexican). I hvane't been back for a few weeks as its off my map, but if it is being closed for private parties, I'd suggest they somehow notify people so they don't go all the way there only to find its not open.

Went to Los Cabos today again and was VERY HAPPY to see that they now have 195 Baht set lunch speicals. I suppose they will post it on their site soon. Seems a good option for lunch. Had a Taco Salad today....first time I had it, and for 195 Baht.... a pretty good lunch!

About T&S.........clearly way above the others.........and the place just gets better.

I can recommend the beef taco, quacamole, frijoles, and cheese enchilada.

    Outstanding Mexican food for Thailand.

Tacos and Salsa is garbage IMO. Sunrise and Coyote are much better. the hard wooden stools at T and S are seriously uncomfortable. 1 star for a nice paint job.

  3. For 149 baht, all in, you can gorge yourself until flatulent on a selection of lettuces, croutons, soups, pasta, carbs, little baby chicken eggs, bacon bits, green peas, baby corns, dressing, virgin olive oil, fruits of all flavors, salt and pepper and yogurt and celery and beets. Beverages are extra and the service is great.

I like the image of baby chickens laying eggs.

    What color are the carbs?

    Are there banana flavored fruits?

Bacon bits: made from textured vegetable protein, artificially flavored to resemble bacon. Yummy !

    "....dressing, virgin olive oil..."

I can rearrange those words to be much for fun.

Sorry, I'm sure the place was great. I used to eat at a Thai buffet for 99 Baht that bumped up to 115 but was still good value with DIY BBQ fish, rock lobster and big prawns as well as the normal mystery cuts of pig and beef, noodles etc. and enough ice cream to drown a camel - that was outside Pattaya and I sure miss it.

I love those baby chickens! And the fact that they give birth to baby chicken eggs is a miracle of nature. Proof of GOD? Well I don't know. I'm just happy the farmers didn't abort the delivery of the baby eggs before they were delivered to sizzler.

Bananas are indeed a banana flavored fruit but my favorite has got to be a watermelon flavored fruit called watermelon. Fantastically flavored carb of the pale red carb colored interior with green shell. The carbs in sizzler come in every color of an artists pallet so come on down.

  4. I highly Recommend The Awesome:

Is it just me or does the Sizzler Salad Bar Buffet rock?

  6. I would highly recommend My Collection restaurant on Wireless road, easily accessible by BTS (Ploenchit station) With its tuck-away location in the heart of the city, people coming in can feel relax and unwind inside a friendly & cosy atmoshphere. Their unique and one-of-a-kind decoration filled with imported Colonial furnitures and sofas giving My Collection a sense of being at 'home'.

In addtion, My Collection holding our Valentine's Dinner special on Sunday, 14 February 2010 (7th-year running.) Each year, they are limiting the invitation to only fifty couples to enjoy sumptous set menu selection that has been carefully. This is to ensure that each couple joining Dinner Special will be personally treated and feel welcomed.

1890 baht plus taxes and tip per person is another valentines day restaurant robbery, considering the menu on hand.

Rule number 1 of valentines day: avoid the special valentine menus.

This has been another helpful valentine tip brought to you by khunopie
