  1. In my experience it is very difficult to travel with Pets. There are some places that may take animals and you will need to search. Depends where you will stay. I know of a guesthouse which does accommodate animals and it is between Pattaya and Sattahip. It has high wall with gates so is safe. If interested, please search 'Mangoes Guesthouse' or PM me. Good luck in your search.

  2. I have had the same experience with cooked.

All my contact mail addresses hacked and mails sent supposedly from me saying I was stuck in some country and desperately needed funds. They even chatted back and forth with my family reeling them in. Luckily, when they were just about to send the, not small amount of money, I was called to confirm. Bastards.

Closed hotmail account in disgust and will never use Microsoft products as they don't care their customers one iota. A look at hotmail forum revealed that this is rife with hotmail. Security? What security? Then they reduce the password characters. You chose.......

  3. At long last, here is my RV. Had an initial tour to Chanthaburi and Koh Chang. Great time. Plan to be going to Issan next month. Looking for a supplier of solar panels should anyone knwo, would appreciate the information.

  4. Posted before I read the replies. Sorry. It is 6 berth, although would suit 2 better. The other is a drop down from the roof and two are seating area conversions to bed. It has a shower and toilet with a sink and microwave and hot plate. An inverter generator supplies power when engine or household hook up not connected. I want to fit solar but need to study that a bit.I will try to upload pics when I figure out how to do.I am interested in Permaculture farming so plan a trip around farms to gather information, so, if anyone knows of any, would appreciate contacts. I did see some positive replies for places to stay and will answer them PM later.

    Thanks to you all.

  5. The one I have is a Vega model based on an Isuzu 6 wheel truck base. Vega is a model built in Chonburi by Siam Motors. Vantech is the Japanize ' partners'. Don't know the connection but I think they are shareholders. As far as I know, there are around 11 in Thailand, mostly used by film sets. It is an export product generally. They are expensive at around 3.7mTHB, new. Can't wait to get out and about soon.....

  6. Been in Thailand for some time now and wanting some 'change'. Just bought an RV. An Izuzu based Vega. Looking for places to stay outside of National parks, small resorts, homesteads, farms of interest. Any suggestions apart from the obvious! Thanks

  7. I have just purchased an RV, with the plan of touring Thailand(Issan in particular) and looking at farms, Falang or otherwise run. I did not make it to the Issan farmers get together recently as I planned. My request is for me to visit some farms and just get a feeling of activities. I will be farming in Laos, just across the boarder, in Suvannakhet on about 30 Rai and am interested in all areas especially Permaculture. While I am writing, I hope all of you recover from the devastating flooding well.Any offer to come visit your farms would be very appreciated. Hope to meet some of you in the coming months.Good luck to you all.

I have had the same # for around 10 years or so. All of a sudden, without notice, if the number is called it says in Thai that the number has been changed to ......... I only noticed as the phone was quiet for some time and I dialed my own number. I have a Guesthouse and Engineering related Company on that number!! When questioned I was told that other people in my area requested internet lines and the original number was not internet so my number had to be changed. No notice, info, concern for the last 10 years promotion by internet, joining directories, NOTHING. What a sham TOT is and totally unresponsive to customers. I HAVE NOW CHANGED TO CAT! All 5 numbers. Their internet has proven good over the last 2 years in Rayong and Chonburi locations I have.

  10. Hi, Thanks for the replies.

I have planted 5 Rai of hemp now and expect a crop in 3 months. Will now study mixes and methods of implementation. Would appreciate any links anyone finds but I have some which I will publish later so anyone can ask what I have so far.

Sunn Hemp, Corn, Cowpea, rice and Jack bean can be sourced from Saraburi by contacting K. Sunee at 081 8202626 and email at [email protected]. She is knowledgable and speaks good English.

Thanks again and I believe this a good subject to follow up on and will be an advantage to many people.

    Thanks again.

  11. Bought some recently.

Supplier of Bulk( 50 kg) bags. Very helpful and K. Suenee can speak good English. They also contract farms for supply of seeds according to her.

'Thai Tanaht Praset' in Chai Badan formely known as Lam Narai on Highway 21 half-way between Saraburi and Petchabun they are on the right side of the road about a kilo or two from(past) the main clock tower on the highway.
