There is such a drug robbery and it is very common in shopping centers. Normally it is enough to allow confusion; verbally attack and grab/scratch arm and later they are able to befriend the victim into thinking they are helping. Normally it is two women who take the subject into toilet - not sure if further drug involved then - in our family case some years ago they claimed person had there gold and used intimidation - taking gold and cash (which was not much but she dressed well so likely picked for that reason) but leaving enough for taxi they talked victim into believing it was a mistake they had returned everything and they must sit and wait for them to return - after a few minutes victim recovered enough to know they had been had but very disoriented. Police report was filed and they said there had been a number of such incidents. Have seen occasional reports of teams being arrested over the years. So yes I believe it could be true.

Believe it or not but it has been proven true in Thailand. It does happen. Good luck to those who think it is a lie .

It's probably happening because it is drying out too quickly... with the sandy soil...

Ideally some heavier soil mixed in would be better (if you can find it)... You could also try using fine coconut fiber, sold in large bags mixed in the soil to a depth of a good six inches... this should help hold the moisture in the ground where the roots need to pickup moisture.... Putting fiber just on top will not help... it should be mixed with the existing soil/sand... (perhaps too, there is rubble below the sand that is causing the problem.... take it out! )

You can either go to the local garden centre & get more turf (same kind.... take a sample if what you have) or you could make plugs from ares doing well... it fills in fairly quickly... but fill the holes with the soil mix!

Using some 8 24 24 fertilizer will help the roots develop, after you replant... manure is not ideal for a lawn.

Keep the newly planted areas moist by sprinkling a few times a day.... until it develops... Ideally do a few weeks before the rainy season starts.

You may find it easier to redo the whole area to get it level, take out the good turf & keep in in the shade.... not stacked ! Then place back onto the newly worked & leveled soil... and firm it down...

See if the affected area is shady due to tree or awnings or anything that is the cause of shade. There are mainly 3 species of grass that are used locally identified as Malaysian grass , Japanese grass and the Thai Nuan Noi.By the description you have given there may be more than just shades that affects the grass. See how thick the sand is ; normally it should not be more than 1 to 1.5 cm in thickness.Again what kind of sand do you fill your ground with?You should use natural fertilisers. Moisture in the ground is also a point to take in view.Do you own a pet. Urination by your pet is also an adverse effect. cos urine contains ammonia and it kills the grass.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. He ran the business for three years and when he wanted a new lease, he was asked for key money. He too didn't know that would happen. The owner would NOT back off and my friend ended up leaving.

Don't give in to them. They are robbers.Stick to your rights. Don't be afraid if you DID NOT BREAK any laws there.Contract is contract , anything out of the contract is not admissible in court.You have all the rights to the arbitration courts.I have been "robbed" by 2 female "friends" in a space of 10 years and lost 700K in cash and vehicles to each of them just because I am easy going and trust people easily.Now and if ever i meet somethiong like that I bring them to court.Get a good and well known lawyer in Bangkok and teach them a lesson.

Most likely the green pond gets more sunlight.

A UV filter can also do wonders if all else fails.

The best method is get the sun away fom the pond.Nothing else can help.

There is a very good fishing pond at Phahonyothin Road opposite Boonthavorn and before Talad Thai. The fishing pond is called " Chae Nong" Price is reasonable . They charge 100 baht per rod and you get the fish free at 2 Kgs. maximum per fishing rod. Their pomfret are about 2 to 3 Kgs per fish. Pla Sawai or fresh water catfish weighing at a minimum of 2.2 Kgs . Great place , friendly people and non racial pricing.The only setback is you MUST purchased bread or fresh baits from them.But they are inexpensive. I fish there 3 times a week . I came to know this fishing place about 2 weeks ago.

My dog Nicky i let him stay, till i find friends or people nearby where i live in Pattaya Klang.

So i don't look anymore for a house for my dog in Thai Visum, because i see not easy to find people.

I understand u like to take a dog and i think u children are happy with Nicky and he with them.

U have much place for him and he get a friend, so he is not alone.

My dog have for the rest a good live is a nice friendly dog but can have a better live, so when u interested.

My dog have a good healthy condition every month he get with my other dogs a injection for animals special in this wet period.

And when the weather is not like now with much rain in Pattaya i bring him to the shop for wash and shave on some places.

When u like make a date and time and u can come to take him out Pattaya.

"Everybody must know the law" is a statement, feeling sorry for the guy too. And I feel sorry for him, even now he did something illegal. But did he know ? No one tells you when you enter the country. This artist did what every artist does: make something, create something. Have fun and make people smile.

This case could have been solved in a different way. Make the man understand the rules, take the 20 baht away from him, fine him with a 200, warn him and let him go. But the officer sticked to his principles and forgot that the man made a minor offence and forgot that this is the land of smiles.

Drugs available at the corner of the street; many violations of traffic rules; no helmet and no driving license; so many things wrong and than pick this man and deport him ? I have no words for this.

But may be we do not know everything. Did he have a big mouth ? Were his papers OK ? Did he have funds to live from ? Was this the first time they saw him doing this "terrible illegal things" ?

Many questions remain.

Whatever , but I believe a minimal fine and a warning will do a great deal. Its a pity ; with all the major crimes happening to farangs , nothing seems to be happening but just this small bit of hobby landed him behind bars . May buddha bless everyone.

I have a shih tzu too. he is seeven years old now , but i saved him from hel_l five years ago , now he is a gentle and lovng boy and most of all a healthy and strong boy.He is lonely and was wondering if we can have a pal for my boy to play with.He has only us to play with , but you understand dogs need dogs as friends too.Furballs' ex-owner imported him from Australia but he lived a undeserved way of living then, but now he is as close as my two sons and one daughter.Call me at 0832442203
