iLikeHD has to be the worst IPTV service on the internet.  All I ask is a reliable connection for BBC World news and CNN News.  They are incapable of providing that an any way that resembles reliability.  Even the 200 thb/month is a total rip off.  I would rather pay 400 thb/month for s service that is reliable.  Avoid this service as you would avoid the plague.

By the way, the beaches on Koh Samet are just as undesireable. The sand part is cleaned up fairly often, but al the sewage from all the hotels and guest houses goes directly into the sea, and the tide brings all of this crap back to shore twice a day. I would not recommend swimmint there at all.

As I understand the situation, the trash from Koh Samet is all dumped into the sea as there are no landfills on the island, and Ban Phe is not willing to take on the expense of transporting the trash back to the mainland. I quit going in the water on this beach years ago.

Thanks for the great info, I really appreciate it. I am in Rayong, 12° North Latitude, so I can't imagine I would have any problems getting a bird in my sights. Now I just need to do some research on a system to buy. Some of the neighbors have Dynasat dishes/LNB, but I don't know what receiver they have. These are all polar mount movable dishes, but the consensus elsewhere in this forum seems to be a fixed mount. So if I must choose one bird, it would be the one that carried NASCAR all the time, every Sunday (Monday our time).

Many Steve, depending on where in the country you are i.e. Intelsat 7/10, Thaicom 5, Insat 4a, Measat 3, Insat 3c, NSS6,Asiasat 5, NSS11, Palapa D, Koreasat 5, Asiasat 4, all the JCSats and raw backhaul/feeds in HD on Intelsat 8 and Intelsat 5 from time to time.

This is slightly off the current topic, but does anyone know if any of the Thailand visible satellites carry the NASCAR races from the USA?

I bought a gas grill from The Barbecue Store in Pattaya. The main store is in Bangkok. This unit is a piece of junk!!! The burners disintegrated in 6 months, and when I went back to the store to complain, the best they would do was to replace the burners with the same low quality item. Obviously those will rot out within the next six months also. I am now looking for a Weber gas grill, and I will pay almost anything to get that quality. Back in the US, I had a 12 year old Weber that still looked brand new, and it still had its original burners. There are outlets in Indonesia and Hong Kong that sell Webers. Amazon and eBay Weber vendors ship only to US addresses it seems.
