Gotta say I'm digging it. Rachel Zane is very tidy. Ms Zane is very tidy indeed, Donna's quite fit too for a ginger minx... Wait until you hit series 3 and are introduced to "Scotty" boy-o-boy, actually I think Scotty was in a couple of episodes in Season 2... Must say this Season Return episode (actual episode 11) was pretty well done...

Popular Post Ulysses G.
Everyone.. Calm the <deleted> down.. Suits has returned.. I've really missed it - pure entertainment. "The Americans" is back too, but I'm more excited about "Suits." I finished all 5 seasons of Friday Night Lights a week ago and have been trying to watch a bunch of series that I gave up watching before and now I know why I stopped. They do not do much for me at the point that I dropped them - pretty boring. It is nice to have some good TV to watch again. BookMan
Amazon Pilot episode of a new show is out. Point of Honor. Available free on Amazon and elsewhere. It is great to see so many sources for shows now. Amazon, Netflix, various cable networks etc. It's a drama set at the start of the civil war. South V North. Family V friend. I reckon it will go into a full series, but not really a show for me

Patsycat
I had a wee tear in my eye at the last Episode of Criminal Minds that their old buddy Gideon was murdered. Death in Paradise - watch it from the first series till now the fourth. Funny and nice that there are not many blood and guts. Afternoon entertainment. Mad Dogs - the English version is downloading as i type. Another insommniac evening sorted...!! The American version only went the pilot. But the Brit one seems to have a great cast. Now, for my real one that i shall watch and watch - Chasing Life - a US drama about a young woman coming to terms that she has cancer. I am finding it fun but at the same time sad. I've watched three episodes back to back and can't wait till the next one. Can't wait for the Greys Anatomy tonight and Blacklist next week, where are my Firemen this week....!
GrantSmith
Backstrom This one slipped past the radar, glad I caught it early on... Pretty damn funny... Like a more mature version of Brooklyn 99 (which was just bad, but that's what it was designed for) "Based on a popular Scandinavian book series by renowned criminologist and novelist Leif G.W. Persson, this drama centers on Detective Everett Backstrom, a grumpy and sometimes offensive detective who heads up the Serious Crimes Unit in Portland, Ore. As Backstrom and his team handle the city's most sensitive cases, the detective tries -- and fails -- to modify his self-destructive tendencies. Three-time Emmy-nominee Rainn Wilson plays the titular role in this series created by executive producer Hart Hanson." - Google

Frank James
Suits!!! I can't wait to see that firm get Litt UP! They made a serious mistake messing with the Litt-Stir, and now it's time for some serious payback. Would love to see a triple team assault, featuring Lewis, Hardman, and that lawyer that hates Harvey so much, who Harvey always makes look like Wile E. Coyote. (Any team always requires a weakest link!) Maybe even throw in some dirty play by the evil Eric Roberts character. He's the only character they've ever written in that Harvey can't get over on. I'm tired of Mike and his little Harvard problem. Let him go to night school for a year or so and get a proper law degree. Meanwhile, will Rachel continue to slip around with the Anti-Mike? And whatever happened to that black guy that got hired on as a full partner, Jessica's boyfriend? He seems to have disappeared. Donna is still the Red Queen! So many possibilities! Can't wait.

Have to disagree Frank, Litt can go suck a bag-o-dicks... He's still a useful character but I wanted to punch him in the face after that episode... Agree Mike's "Harvard" thing is a bit tiresome... You're wondering where Jeff went? Didn't you watch the latest episode? Featured pretty well there for a bit part character, in calling "Bullshit" on what went down... Eric Roberts won't make a return, he's too busy playing Russel Jackson on "Madam Secretary"
Frank James
I've got the latest Suits cued up and ready to play this evening. Can't agree about Lewis. He's the hands and feet of that outfit, and gets NO respect. ("Bag-o-dicks?" What a picture!) ) Of course, he does have an obnoxious personality, and he's way too fond of cats, but look how many times he has saved the firm, by ferreting out some obscure financial detail, that turns a losing case around. Anybody in his position would be psychotically pissed at the years of second class treatment he has received. This time, it's PERSONAL! In an irrelevant, fairly stupid, and completely unrelated matter...I was sitting in a coffee shop in Chiang Mai this morning, and almost flipped out when I saw, sitting a few feet away, a girl who I was CONVINCED was the lovely Oz actress Adelaide Clemens, who plays the achingly sweet and tragic character Tawney Talbot on Rectify, the great show from Sundance Channel. You know, it was one of those things we've all experienced..."It's HER...GOTTA be, Nah, can't be, why would she be here...but...but." From the side, it was HER, complete with Tawney's blond haircut, but when I got up the nerve to go over and talk to her, it was clear from frontal view that it wasn't dear sweet "Tawney", just a nice German girl, who has never seen the show. Maybe I've been in Thailand too long... I can't wait until that show comes back. It's one of the very best.
Popular Post BookMan
Everly Salma hayek plays prostitute turned killing machine, Everly. Lots of action, killing , blood, sadism. more killing, guns. All takes place in the one building. Was a bit too much really. 5/10 from me "...After clearing the room in brutal fashion, her boss Taiko makes a promise that she won’t be leaving her apartment alive, issuing a 50K bounty on her head that every other neighboring “professional” would love to claim. Caring only for the safety of her mother and daughter, Everly must fight off attacks from hopeful moneymakers, SWAT teams, evil Yakuza bosses, and just about anyone else in the apartment complex it seems. The plot thickens when those who Everly strives to protect show up at her dangerous apartment, upping the ante with every advancing wave of assassins." http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/everly-review-fantastic-fest-2014/

His intentions were good, but his execution was floored, he's just too emotional.. Wouldn't be the same without him though, but, goddammit Louis... Popular Post BookMan
The Trip To Italy A 6 part series from the BBC starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. I quite like both of these actors and am enjoying the series so far. it was good I am watching the movie of this. The 6 part TV sitcom was repackaged into a feature film. Quite a relaxing understated comedy show,. Like a a series of stand up comedy routines based around a gastronomic tour. Well worth a watch. It is a little confusing but you have the following: The Trip (2010) - 6 part TV series/sitcom based on a restaurant tour of England The Trip (2010) - Feature Film, edited from the TV series The Trip to Italy (2014) - 6 part TV based on fictionalised restaurant tour of Italy The Trip To Italy (2014) - Feature Film, edited from the TV series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trip_(2010_TV_series)
stat088
Just watched "wild Card" and enjoyed it. Rate it a 7. I am a bit pissed off with the Casino part. Nobody hits on 17 with 500k USD on the line. Good movie but if you want to really to get a feel for gambling and gamblers watch "The Gambler". They really captured the essence of what gambling is all about.
Tywais
Just watched Nightcrawler. Jake G has crafted a perfect portrait of a sociopath. He goes around spouting newspeak cliches out of self-help and "effective strategies in modern management" books, while violating every rule of moral behavior, all with a vacant smile on his face. Deeply disturbing, but I couldn't look away. 9-1/2 Thanks for that. Just watched it and it is indeed intense.

Frank James
Justified is back for its final spin. Everything points toward the ultimate clash between Raylan and Boyd. Some new characters and situations have been brought in to confuse the picture, but, from the start it's always been about R and B, two sides of the same Harlan coin. You can tell they both know things are coming to a head, and both of them are being used by forces higher up that will never have to pay the ultimate price, the ones that always get away with their evil business. One thing that bothers me about the writing is why the Law chooses to focus on Boyd Crowder so much, when it is clear that he is far from being the Crime Kingpin of Eastern Kentucky. And his crimes, murder and bank robbery, among others, would seem to fall under the authority of state and local police agencies. (Oh well, the bank robbery, that's a Fed thing.) Raylan seems to be just playing out the string so he can get back down to Florida, for better work and to be with his wife and new daughter. It's good to see Deputy Guterson getting more screen time. But he is in the crosshairs as well. And the old chief is critically laid up while Rachel and the lawyer run the Lexington office, trying to make a name for themselves at the expense of the "help." Remember the theme: Nobody gets out of Harlan alive.

Popular Post uptheos
Rosewater (2014) In June 2009, BBC journalist Maziar Bahari, an Iranian-born Canadian citizen, returned to his native country to interview Mir-Hossein Moussavi, the prime challenger to incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. When Moussavi's supporters protested Ahmadinejad's declaration of victory, Bahari smuggled footage of the riots to the BBC. He was soon arrested by the Revolutionary Guard and -- led by a man known only as "Rosewater" -- was interrogated and tortured for 118 days Review here: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/rosewater/ Watch here: http://rainierland.com/movie/rosewater-2014.html
