doublephil
I have just got a new passport (British) - so the old one is cancelled I had a Non O marriage visa from Savannakhet but it has already expired I have a 60 day extension from Chiang Mai immgration valid until May 24th in the old passport I intend to go to Savannakhet next week to get a new Non O visa based on marriage My question is this- Do I need to get anything stamped in the new passport at Chiang Mai immigration before I go? or Can I just present both passports at Mukdahan border immigration? I guess everything is same as usual at Savannakhet for getting a Non O marriage visa Many thanks
ubonjoe
You can do it on departure from the country by showing both passports. Only long term extensions require the stamp transfer be done at immigration. No changes for getting the non-o visa at Savannakhet.
