tabarin
Hanoi does ask for income proof, I printed a kasikorn statement of the past month showing over 100k in deposits and 59k balance. Applied yesterday, it was a very quite and easy experience in terms of waiting. It looks like a post office rather than a cow farm with hundreds of people lining up. Today I came back at 4PM and collected a new non o single entry by 5PM. The refused German girl did get her transit Visa to collect her stuff, she will move to Vietnam after that. Now enjoying a good bottle of wine and Vietnamese cuisine, grilled duck breast etc. to celebrate. P.S. Vietnam has much more choice of food, world wide kitchen, for little money. Compared to Thailand it's much less fast food and more real deal food, at cheap prices (BKK might offer the world but that is double to triple costs).
