Boater
Hi I know if i was to import a car i would have to pay import tax, sometime 5 times the value of the actual car. Know if i imorted a kit car into thailand, do i have to pay such tax, as in the uk kit cars are classfied differently by the engine? not the make? Can anyone advise on this Thanks
A_Traveller
Not a direct answer, but when I looked at bringing a classic here to be rebuilt, the customs side became a nightmare {paperwork and probable tax rate} and I decided not to continue. silverhawk_usa
Interesting idea I think. I only have experience bring in relacement parts for motorcycle s and they are usually taxed at 35%. More for electriacal items, and overall still at the discretion of the Customs official.
