SARGEY
Hi Arriving in Bangkok from UK on 18th September. I've booked a short trip to Cambodia from 18th to 21st before I fly up to Chiang Mai. Could anyone advise on currency I'll need in Cambodia, and where best to exchange my UK sterling. Thanks in advance. Sargey

Khutan
Some Thai Baht and also USD are well accepted in Cambo. Make sure you have new and fresh looking notes.

I second that 'SOME Thai Baht'. Actually had problems with Thai Baht (big supermarkets like Lucky and Thai Huot accept it, but I doubt you will need to go there when you stay just a few days). US Dollars are definitely better. Pls also bring small notes, LOADS of them, because even the Motodup drivers (you'll find out soon enough what that is ;-) ) prefer being paid in USD. tracer5050
Yes take some US Dollars, I had Thai Baht and US Dollors. It was easier to use the dollars in Cambo. And like the man said make sure new and crisp , They will not take worn money.
