Israeli Drug Ring here in Pattaya, uncovered by Special Operations Police from Chonburi Police HQ.

We joined a team of Police Officers from the Special Operations Unit based at Chonburi Provincial Police Headquarters who served an arrest warrant on an Israeli National who failed to appear in court following a case involving class 1 narcotics. In House number 511 at the May Home Village, Police found their suspect, Mr. Yacov Cohen aged 53. After some discussions, he gave up some information relating to two further Israelis suspected of involving themselves in class 1 drug activities.

The Officers then made their way to house number 85/94 in Soi Arunothai, Central Pattaya. There appeared to be no one at the residence which is known to be occupied by Mr. Yisrael Krispin aged 47 from Israel. The officers forced entry and discovered a containeR hidden under a plant pot in the front porch which contained approximately 6,000 Ecstasy Tablets. An arrest warrant for Mr. Krispin has now been issued in relation to the discovery.

Police then went to a third location in South Pattaya. They were led to room number 3/386 at the Center Condotel just off the South Pattaya Road. The room is occupied by Mr. Vasco, also an Israeli National who refused to open the door for Police, despite numerous requests. With guns drawn, Police forced entry to the room and arrested Mr. Vasco. A search of the room uncovered a small quantity of a white powder, thought to be Cocaine and implements commonly used to smoke narcotics. This investigation is far from over and the two men caught so far will be processed in accordance with the Law.

police officers disclosing to the press the source for the capturing of the serious drug dealer signed a death warrant on their informant - so no more inteligence

very occasionally a journalist is invited by the police to be the independent witness to the police operation/arrest but it's unlikely he will witness a discussion/interrogation.

most probably the jounalist wasn't there at the time of the arrest and pictures do come from the police photographer and were distributed to the press with the press release or during the press conference
