He is wondering how long after the Interview he can expect her Visa, so that he can book flights... Everything in the US has been approved, just pending the Interview... daveh Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 A friend's fiancée had to wait an extra two weeks because there was a slight discrepancy in her name in her paperwork. I was told this was so the FBI/CIA could check out the alternate spelling of her name. According to Fiancée & Marriage Visas: A Couple's Guide to U.S. Immigration, it is not unusual to have this extra two weeks after the interview.
