The best I have found is Map Magic by ThinkNet although I think the latest is 2006.

Bilingual Detailed printed map and CD included.

Check out your local B2S bookstore.

Online there is http://map.longdo.com/longdomap which is less detailed but can be useful.

Can anyone recommend a quality & accurate map of Phuket? I am looking for both online and printed maps.

Thanks

Yep, I got a copy of Map Magic from the bookstore at Central Festival. You get both a paper and a CD copy. It took me a while to find it as it is in the Thai section not the international section.

But you know most of Phuket is uncharted territory. There are hundreds of little sois that don’t appear on any map.

I use Google Earth for a lot.

I then transfer info to my GPS is necessary. (waypoints are easy to transfer of course, routes are more challenging but can be done)

The latest version is pretty incredible. Especially if you hold the shift key and use your mouse scroll wheel. Then you see the hills and terrain also.

You have to zoom to the correct level to see street names (and have them turned on)

Perhaps someday google earth will make maps obsolete.
